Re: Floodlights Update
Just say no to VAR
Re: Floodlights Update
Evidently new ones to go up before the old ones come down, work due to start shortly..
Re: Floodlights Update
Are the new ones the same height as the old ones ?.Big E wrote:Evidently new ones to go up before the old ones come down, work due to start shortly..
Re: Floodlights Update
Remember it being stated they'd be 30M - so similar height to old ones.mall wrote:Are the new ones the same height as the old ones ?.Big E wrote:Evidently new ones to go up before the old ones come down, work due to start shortly..
On the "this week at Barrow" video, Austin mentioned that planning permission had been submitted - but there's no mention of it on the council website !!!
Re: Floodlights Update
That should suit Paul then (Casson), I seem to remember him saying that the floodlights were a "prominent feature of the Barrow skyline"-something like that anyway-.Paul wrote:Remember it being stated they'd be 30M - so similar height to old ones.mall wrote: Are the new ones the same height as the old ones ?.

So if the new ones are the same height, brilliant !.
Re: Floodlights Update
3 weeks to go until when the club stated the new floodlights would be in place - still can't find any mention of a planning application on the council website. Mystery or another season delay ??

Re: Floodlights Update
I've been asking the same question for weeks since the club stated on a number of occasions planning permission has been applied for
there is no way these floodlights will be up anytime soon, in my honest opinion.

Re: Floodlights Update
As far as I know nothing has changed, the start date is still the same and there are no problems.
I'm seeing if I can get an update right now.
