17/18 VNL Tranmere 1 - 0 Barrow

Just watched the vid, looks a terrible decision to diisallow our goal, a suggestion of grabbing from the Tranmere goalkeeper, but if anything it was our player who was pushed to the ground as the throw in came in. Nothing suprised me though.

It's from a throw in, so no offside

That only applies to the player (Harrison ) who heads it yussef doesn't head it so he's then offside that's how I see it !

how can you be offside from a throw in if you don't touch the ball ? ??

Hard to figure out what that goal was disallowed for! It's football though and it happens.

Moore made some fantastic saves during that game, his disappointment was plain to see when they scored.

Was Moussa trying to pass the ball out or did it just sort of get tangled under his legs?

Played well and at least deserved a point,not impressed with Tranmere,large police presence even a couple police horse's,well it was Barrow.

It's seemed to me at the time (I haven't seen the highlights yet) that the referee initially gave the goal but then his mind was changed by the linesman. If it was Adi backing into the 'keeper, then surely the referee would have had a better view than the man on the touchline?

Or was it just another bad decision from a weak official?

We were the better team for 75 mins then defend the 0-0 took over and we sat back,time wasted, Tranmere were Allowed to come forward and got into the game big time. You could see the goal coming, and 6 mins extra time was a killer. The lads played well, yussef did well against mcnulty, Gomas and Diarra had good games.Harrison didn't do much, Moore had a great game in goals (m o m). Good day out, we' ll stuff coxy's lot on Tuesday !!

The only thing Tranmere fans see is Div 2 on the horizon...and it's slowly fading away...it must be like being in Pugatory for them!

They need to take a 'realistic' view of their plight. They AREN'T a big club, anymore. In fact, apart from a brief spell in The Championship, they never were! Big Stadium. Big Fan Base, yes. A big club? Naaah...

Not a big club but definitely big enough to be a Division 2 club or even a Division 1 club.

They sure are a big club, or potential to be. There still getting over 4000 against us and dover last week,when lincoln were struggling in this league they were getting 2000 +,now there selling out 9000,Tranmere would be double figures.The infrastrucure they have in place as well is impressive.That supporters view of our tactics makes me laugh,they either blame the opposition or the officials ever week,and cant admit to there own teams weaknesses.As if being there losing in the 94th min isnt bad enough i buy a NLP and them celebrating is splashed across the front page,[SwearFilter].

Tranmere are a sleeping giant , probably best stadium in this division and big fan base.

On the game it appeared to me we got away rather lucky with a one nil defeat, they toyed with us for the first half hour and their ball retention and passes were of a very high standard.

We came into the game and could have taken the lead in latter part of first half but didn't.

In second half we were better but for a couple of great saves from Moore when they were pounding our defence it could have been a lot more.The goal was always coming and I don't think it's a disgrace we got beat because this Tranmere team are on the way to top of league IMO.

Must be tough for a club of that stature to be non league and their team is still no great shakes as demonstrated Saturday and in the Play Off Final last term. The plight of Stockport is worse of course, so AFC are not doing too badly - for the time being.

Toyed with us first half hour but you are correct they were there for the taking too at times , just feel they are a good footballing side and just couldn't finish, but they will come good.

So just goes to show we all see it differently
