1, Rightly or wrongly in many folks eyes he has placed Andrew in charge of operations.....Yet you expect him to fly over personally to what deliver a statement?? Why does he have too as he has Andrew in place to do these type of things.

2, Any Statements by Footy clubs, Are all Company line policies full of waffle & piecemeal its the same with Business, Politicians, Organisations etc

3, How the heck has Casson "Treat the fans like Dummies" We don't know what's gone on with the club & cox but the club have to deal with cox quitting on You, Me, the Club, all of us..........People today baffle me.....Holty with ZERO experience seems to be the popular choice yet MM with enough experience isnt??
Holt might want a kings ransom to come here, MM is already here on a contract etc

Plenty of fans were warming to the way the team were trying to play football & entertain you & we were unlucky at both Fylde & Tranny, Then we came up against a Cox motivated Guiseley where the only winner was the weather & last Saturdays terrible showing vs Torquay & everyone's going out of their minds, Yes it was a horrible effort by us on Saturday.....it happens from time to time, A little luck here & there & we could be in the top 10 & not having this conversation.

I know very little about MM, But the poor lad has been thrown in at the deep end with a squad Cox brought in to play giants hoofball & MM is working with the hand cox handed him, I can not recall us ever having an injury crisis like we are now suffering with an already thin squad etc.

MM wouldnt be my choice but if he gets the job I would give him enough time to enable him to really put his stamp on the team & how it plays before questioning his ability.
That giants hoofball as you call it got us to 7th in league last season

Cox also has the third best win ratio of all Barrow managers in our history

The problem it appears to me is that the owner is interfering in how the team should play and possibly picking the team.

That is something that Paul Cox would not have accepted and he chucked it.

MM obviously wants the job and will do as the paymaster desires as we all do in our job of work so it's understandable for someone who wants to keep getting paid.

Therein like the problem I think

How we started with two unfit players on Saturday with Yusuff and Harrison is totally baffling we then lose Yusuff to injury once again,he should not have started.

Harrison never featured in Cox's sides as we can see why he is patently not ready yet he has now played two full ninety minutes.Cox went on about strengthening the squad, it appears the owners thought differently, now we are losing more players week to week to injuries.

White is our top scorer and yet it appears he has been frozen out as it appears he is a giant who can only play hoofball, the irony of it all we got our goal on Saturday by having three six foot plus players up top at the end of the game.

Was listening to talksport the other evening and they were lamenting about how owners and managers want to play like Barcelona, we don't have players like Messi inestia etc and its just plain daft.

We all want to win games and see nice football but let's allow the manager to play the way he wants, for goodness sake we lost a stupid goal at Tranmere because Moussa was trying to play football instead of doing what comes natural to him.... Clear the [SwearFilter] ball.

The update talks so much about a new playing style, well let's get points and then worry about playing style, let's not try and put the cart before the horse.

Also Casson stated he wanted someone better than Cox

Well that isn't Moore

So in reality a lot of hot air in the statement imo

I may be wrong but something not quite right at Barrow at the moment.

With a budget most previous managers could only ever have dreamt of.

Seriously?
Bluebarrowman wrote: Tue Sep 19, 2017 7:29 pm Harrison never featured in Cox's sides as we can see why he is patently not ready
He featured in two games at the end of last season when he REALLY wasn't ready....under Coxy.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.
