I feel it will be a long, long time before we ever again rise from the National League North. In fact I wouldnt be surprised if we go the other way the way things are at the minute. All the shti about League football and a new ground.Been hoodwinked-the lot of us.

We haven't been hood winked, I genuinely believe (despite all the crap they come out with now) that Paul Casson wanted to get us promoted, he just didn't realise how much it would all cost. Cost FGR £10 million to get promoted

I don't think that's true. I'm sure( and I may be wrong) that he took due care and accosted it all. Sure Ste Leonard or somebody else said similar.

boyliegladbach wrote: ↑Sun Oct 01, 2017 12:17 pm It was mentioned Friday night about Moore having no assistant or coach, if he's staying then let's get some help in ASAP. However I got the impression they don't seem in any rush, said they have spoke to people though.
Moore is doing everything and hopefully once he has a bit of assistance things might pick up (clutching at straws here like)
Intersting post.. I even noticed MM was having to sort the subs out with the 4th official and the paperwork.
Why not get 1 or 2 Youth team coaches doing to menial, simple things on game day thus allowing MM to concentrate on the important things, until he brings in his chosen choice?

Simple as shit to arrange.

He needs an assistant and possibly a coach as well. I can't see anything before next Saturday with the games coming up.

But, when is then mickmike? MM has had 8 games in charge now, he was obviously going to get the job during the sham that was the caretaker period. Plenty of time to sort out an assistant. FFS,, York sacked their manager and brought in a replacement and assistant within hours, no guarantee of success ( like all managerial appointments ) but more chance than the fiasco we have atm

They don't want to sack him.... more so after an extended contract.£.
On an assistant.....no one has appeared which indicates he won't be given one at this time? 0r they're waiting to see results improve?
If he remains manager then we will be stuffed before Xmas . 🦃🦃

It is so obvious that Moore was probably the cheapest and only option the Casson's had. God only knows how much it has cost to keep the club afloat on top of the original reported 1.8 million investment. Gates of 1000 is not going to help with the cause especially with the real possibility of being relegated at the end of the season as was discussed on yesterdays football programme on RC.

To be fair, they sorted him an assistant when he was interim manager so he'll get staff now he's the permanent manager.

He could do with cracking on with getting it sorted though.

He asked his mate Bignot who looked the part TBH. That was on a non contract fee.
Better to do the same again as to have another contract £ given what's happening on pitch now would be poor business.
The problem isn't the lack of an assistant it's the poor decision to appoint mm.
I don't think the squad is beyond sorting out.
