Re: BARROW V MAIDSTONE match thread
Everyone at the Maidstone game will have gone home disappointed that we lost a game – our first defeat at home. But you can’t leave the ground and feel we got battered or they were better than us. There was nothing in it and we need to score that first goal.
“I would be disappointed if any support at the game said we didn’t play well. We played some really good football. We passed it well. We created a great opportunity to go one in front. - Micky Moore
I wasn't at the game but reading on here seems that the above isn't quite true.

I remember us playing well against Watford and Alty 0-0 at half time then getting thumped 0-4.
We struggle to get draws against the poorest sides.
Mickey Moore is not the one to blame here but he did say after his first result imagine what I could do with a little more time
He should not have been given the job but there is obviously a reason Casson gave him it after such a run of poor results the logic is flawed unless failure is the aim

That Andy Wood actively seeks any negative slant on everything BAFC then gleefully runs with it & highlights it repeatedly, Yet the reporters covering CUFC don't do this & they have just as much crap going on their if not more.....Unbiased my arse.

I disagree. I think him informative and he gives out some solid information others wouldn'tmickmike wilson wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2017 1:52 pmThat Andy Wood actively seeks any negative slant on everything BAFC then gleefully runs with it & highlights it repeatedly, Yet the reporters covering CUFC don't do this & they have just as much crap going on their if not more.....Unbiased my arse.

He's not scored once and got sent off yesterday. The "fans" up there don't like him either especially cause he came from us.
Hope he returns.
I did mention not scoring enough.
Yussuf has always scored....he will deliver.
Williams stays on bench unused at dale...can we get him in too?
Anderton doesn't get on bench at tangerines.
You're correct in work ethic. Money on false pretences? Can't see Mickey Mouse shouting at them afterwards.... he doesn't do it during play.
Conference north the plan then?
I think part of the problem there is that Carlisle is miles away from anywhere. It tends to foster that isolationist inward looking psyche.

RC are in the huff with the club in general I think, you'd have to ask them why. It does show in the tone of the broadcasting IMO. Where's he's got this endless complaining about style from the fans got Cox the boot scenario- utter tripe. Especially since he's got Goodwin as a sidekick who complained more than anyone! Hypocrites.
The fact that James Phillips is an craven sycophant when it comes to that fool Curle is nowt to do with us.
However, Andy Wood is a good guy and 100% right that Micky Moore was havering utter nonsense to suggest we played well at any point barring acceptable for the first 15. And as a team we do amazingly well the coverage we get, for this level.

Radio Lonsdale think the same to be fair.
Anyone who doesn't think we are in a relegation battle needs to take off the tinted specs
2nd half saturday we played like a a team that was already down. No fight in them at all

Barrow is probably the most isolated place on earth and close to nowhere...well, apart from Dalton...

Wood might speak “live” to handful of fans occasionally, but much of his material for comment comes from this forum.
Because it then goes out over the airwaves as being representative of the general consensus, it is the reason why the dross from the chuckle brothers (Azalea and Pedro) posted relentlessly on here is so divisive.

The problem being, there is very little if any positivity coming from the club, he doesn't have to actively seek very hard to find a negative slant.mickmike wilson wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2017 1:52 pmThat Andy Wood actively seeks any negative slant on everything BAFC then gleefully runs with it & highlights it repeatedly, Yet the reporters covering CUFC don't do this & they have just as much crap going on their if not more.....Unbiased my arse.

So you think he values the opinion of a former member of this forum and Pedro more than yourself or anyone else who thinks all is well?Hitthebar22 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2017 3:56 pm Wood might speak “live” to handful of fans occasionally, but much of his material for comment comes from this forum.

Re: BARROW V MAIDSTONE match thread
Have to agree with this, the muck spreaders are causing damage to the club they claim to support.....Criticising is welcomed when its valid & their has been many cases were its been agreed but seeking it out of any & every situation even when its not there is terrible in my book & helps no one.Hitthebar22 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2017 3:56 pm Wood might speak “live” to handful of fans occasionally, but much of his material for comment comes from this forum.

Andy Wood has been at it all season, thats where my comment about him comes from.
