Agree Dave we should have replaced Dunne. Out of the combinations with Diarra, ie Livsey, Nieskins and Dunne we now have the weakest combo with Audel & Diarra to see us through and there is no cover if either gets injured as far as I can see.

I wouldn't have thought we are cutting costs, more than likely shifting the players that AP doesn't rate .
I'd much prefer just avoiding relegation with who we've got and loans rather than spend on panic signings just to keep the fans happy.
Then we can bolster the the ranks in the summer with a better budget.
At least I hope this is what's happening.

I don’t think I’m a negative person but I think we can all see the signs of disenchantment, lack of investment and steady all round stalemate at the FBSS. Paul Casson has given it his best shot, provided a good level of investment but ultimately did not have the conviction or wherewithal to properly re-build Barrow AFC to the standards we have seen at our neighbouring football clubs.

Had Paul not stepped in when he did the club would have folded and the Supporters Trust would in time have re-formed the club at a much lower level. However, I believe that is exactly what is going to happen within the next five years.

I think he came in and as above gave it a go .
When he offered a deal at the beginning of the season on season tickets I told my mate it's the start of realising assets on the back of what was achieved last season.
We sold the best players and now are running a team with a small squad with no sign of a centre half or midfielder.

If we don't improve this squad we'll struggle to avoid relegation pennock must realise the squad has no bite and no creativity and God knows whose going to score the goals, all we get is absolute crap spouted by Andrew Casson he's deluded with some of the quotes he comes out with he talks as though we're a premier league team.
What's happened to the 5 year plan and the legacy?
Now Ians gone we have no dialogue or contact with the club instead of being involved we all seem to be an inconvenience no wonder people have stopped going if we go down it will be a disaster but Andrew Casson keeps burying his head in the sand !

Here's another spin on it.
Paul Cox Spunked the budget with large signing on fees and inflated wages. Budget for season gone.
Enter Ady Pennock. Budget gone for the season and continuing low crowds that we hadn't budgeted for.
"Ady, keep us up, but you will have to wheel and deal with players as Coxy has Spunked all the money for this season"

PC is hardly going to release extra funds to help us achieve a bottom half finish at best.
