We won't get a point from the next 3 games and think the goal difference will take a good kicking too. Not feeling optimistic at all after that.

Absolutely clueless. Live on tv and we embarrassed ourselves. They simply wanted it more which is the worse comment you can hear as a footballer. Not a single player wanted the ball, won a 50-50 or shown any desire or passion.

Those clamouring for Holt to get the managers role months ago need to give their heads a rattle as well, what he brings to the table is baffling me at the minute.

The squad is shambolic and desperately below this level, the signing of a young inexperienced local kid at this stage of a season in a physical league like this also shows desperation in my opinion.

Makoma-Simply not a footballer
Cook and Diarra-Either would probably do ok alongside a meathead or an experienced centre back but both are too weak to lead the line so don’t work together
McDonald-Decent young player, just a shame no-one will show for him when he has the ball
Bauress-Gluestick league player
James-Always available to pass backwards or sideways
Hall-Must be one of (if not the) least inspiring captains we’ve ever had
Walters-Shows signs of a decent player but spends too much time out of the game
Waterson-Impressed first half and understandably tired second half. Think he’s a player if we can find a midfielder who can provide a pass
Luke James-Grafts away and scored again. He’d have looked excellent alongside Richie Bennett last year, needs someone up there who can flick the ball on for him

Still can't believe that 2nd half performance. Listened to radio cumbria driving home and someone (possibly Stuart) had messaged how can we
expect to win a game with Bauress and Makoma starting?
How does Bauress constantly get selected at this level?

After the first 40 minutes I was actually optimistic that we'd finally win at home, but that second half showing was abysmal. We should've been out of sight by half time to the point where those two awful goals to concede wouldn't have mattered. The goals themselves make it even the more frustrating than the performance itself. There's absolutely no battle whatsoever, if we concede then the win has gone out the window.

It's got to the point where I'd be much happier watching a team of Conference North players battling for the playoffs in the league below than what we've witnessed at Holker Street this season. I can't comment on the away games.

One thing I did notice slightly after the first goal but for definite after the second had gone in was how a bad pass suddenly turned from hardly being acknowledged to being screamed at. One bloke got a few shut up shouts when shouting at Bauress asking him why he was still on the pitch. Granted he was saying what we were all thinking, but being all for telling the players what we think of them after a shocker like that, especially if it was an away game, I sometimes feel it's best left to the end. *Puts tin hat on*

That league is a hard league take a look at some teams in there I would not fancy our chances ex reformed league clubs, fc united possibly salford city it would be a struggle

Very harsh on Makoma, I'm not sure what people have got against him but some seem to have made their mind up and it doesn't matter what he does.

He was one of our better players first half and set up the goal with a great ball. A couple of passes did go astray but he was solid and offered a threat going forward. At Maidenhead on Saturday he was good, and let's not forget he's in an unfamiliar position at right back.

For me, he's got ability without any doubt at all. But he came straight from playing French youth football to playing at Holker Street on a wet and windy night as an 18 year old kid, that's not going to be easy for anyone.

He's got the right attitude, works hard and shows flashes that suggest he's got something. He's done a better job in the last 2 games at right-back than the waste of a shirt that is Jack Barthram has done all season.

Agree, thought Makoma did ok tonight, always tries to be positive when in possession and put James in for the goal also played a lovely body feint and left his marker behind. Lovely bit of skill in the first half. It cannot have been easy for the lad coming into a struggling side.

Just left the club, Paul, Andrew and Ady and co still chewing over the fat of the midnight oil in the office as we left.
Our home form looks like it is starting to become a psychological barrier. First half the player believed in themselves, a late equalising goal just before half time knocked the stuffing out of us though and from there on in doubt seemed to creep in we were woefully inept second half showing no urgency or self belief and paid the ultimate price as Hartlepool were worthy winners.
The owners care the management care but It's all becoming a little bit sad when our loan players seam to care more than those on contract to the club.
And before anyone mentions Paul Cox, only four of his players featured tonight.
The battle for survival continues, I trust we will prevail. It's now time for Ady and co to convince the players this too.
We certainly do not have enough strength in depth so the ride from herein is perilous to say the least, I hope we live to tell the tail in this league.
