If we don’t then it’s a dogfight on the last game which will test our squad and management.
I am sure ady and the lads have enough in the tank to do it.

Simply means that if we were to lose to Chester, Woking would need to beat Dover as a draw would be of no use to them

Actually dont think the point at Bromley would make a huge amount of difference to the task on Saturday - though it might to morale. It does cut off the scenario whereby Woking would get a point and survive if Barrow lost and a point v Dover may be the most statistically likely outcome of that game. So I 'd obviously take point at Bromley. However short of winning tonight, both Woking and Barrow will need to be fully focussed on winning on Saturday and whether its a one point margin or goal difference doesn't change that much. And I'd hate to think that we might rest on our laurels on saturday and sit back clinging on to the hope that Woking wont score or win.

Short of a BAFC win tonight its a winner takes all game on Saturday. Biggest balls wins.

I think we’ll win on Saturday (anything less doesn’t bear thinking about...) but what does concern me a bit is the way Ady sets up a lot of the time, leaving Luke to chase everything isn’t ideal at anytime - and definitely not in this situation.
I think we need to be at them right from the off and hopefully their young, inexperienced, managerless team will collapse.

Agree Spirit - which is why I wouldn't actually trust a point tonight very much as it muddies the waters with regard to their attitude on Saturday. Dont want them suffering from Andy Cook syndrome (Definition Andy Cook Syndrome : the ability to analyse or process more than one piece of information at a time when receiving a football within range of the opponents goal).

That's about the best argument for us taking a point tonight as it would perk Dovers chances up a bit. Whatever happens they will start the Woking game with a mathematical chance of the play-offs. Because of their goal difference advantage over Ebbsfleet the worst position they would find themselves in tonight is having to win on Saturday and hope others didn't. I cant bring myself to believe that under those circumstances Dover would just not turn up.

There are simply no excuses.

Dover are in with a real chance of the playoffs if they win on Saturday. Yes it might depend on how others do, e.g. Fylde (away to Wrexham), but they are bound to be going flat out for a win.
A point tonight at Bromley would mean we’d only be relegated if we lost to Chester and Woking beat Dover. If we got a point tonight, and we lose to Chester, a draw for Woking against Dover wouldn’t be enough for them, and we’d stay up on goal difference. If we lost both games, and Woking get at least a point against Dover, we’d be down.
That’s as I see it - a point tonight would be very valuable.

Didn't say Cookie wasn't a great striker just an uncomplicated one. Tranmere nearly messed him up by trying to get him to adapt his play last season and this backfired spectacularly. This season they've been using the mantra "Run, See Goal, Shoot". Works a treat.

On the subject of stats, I believe Woking were actually second in the NL table at the end of October after 15 games with 28 points. This means they've taken only 20 points from the last 30 games. That's pretty gruesome.
