So are you buying him out then?
NOW THE DUST HAS SETTLED
Re: NOW THE DUST HAS SETTLED
I presume he’s referring to Liam Hughes? A very good post but a cheap shot there considering the lads problemsmulholland wrote: ↑Sun Apr 29, 2018 2:31 amWhat's the 'drug-taking and factions' crac? Please do elaborate. Some of us merely turn up to watch and don't get involved in the tittle-tattle of life off the pitch.

Fair enough. I've taken it out, at the end of the day it doesn't really add or subtract from the general picture anyway and anyone can have problems. What I'm trying to get at is that everyone in the club made the mess, to one degree or another and have worked against each other, or reacted badly.
Re: NOW THE DUST HAS SETTLED
He's not covered himself in glory this season for sure
But let's give him a chance to put things right.
What other choice do we have ?

I fully agree, theres been improvements which is why I was so frustrated yesterday.
Re: NOW THE DUST HAS SETTLED
We were so close to being relegated but if it is the let off that will give us the opportunity to sort things out then I’ll take that. Pennock now needs to be given the backing to bring in his player targets and make us competitive at the right end of the table.

I know it's been a [SwearFilter] of a season on the pitch, but to have the Trust and NSC off their own backs having to stand on a chair in the middle of the xbar and shush the crowd to present their own awards, shambles.

Re: NOW THE DUST HAS SETTLED
Looks like another strong league next year, Salford will probably throw money at the league and buy any decent northern players, Harrogate will spend if they come up too, no idea about Havant and Waterlooville from the south, but they've got matt tubbs playing for them, so must be spending a bit. Coming down it's always hard to predict which way Chesterfield will go, but if Barnet come with them I imagine they'll expect to be challenging pretty quickly and have recent history of doing so.Jonty wrote: ↑Sun Apr 29, 2018 12:54 pm We were so close to being relegated but if it is the let off that will give us the opportunity to sort things out then I’ll take that. Either way can imagine we'll be one of the favourites for relegation, will need to get our home form sorted pretty sharpish!
Re: NOW THE DUST HAS SETTLED
Hopefully we don’t go into next season with comments like “7th isn’t good enough”. It’s a strong league on paper and I’d be quite happy sitting 12th-14th without any arse nipping this time next year. Consolidate, and improve the club off the pitch so we have better foundations if Casson’s aim remains the same as it was three years ago.
Popular side since '03.

I'm hugely impressed by the passion and integrity shown in that outburst, BA. Thank you! I don't possess the insights into the machinations within the club that you obviously do, but there can be no question of the sincerity with which you express your frustrations. We could do with someone like you winning the EuroMillions Lottery because we would know then that the club would start to go forward with 100% genuine motive! And that's what we need after enduring this most shambolic of seasons.

7th seems to be good enough for Fylde this year.Matty wrote: ↑Sun Apr 29, 2018 2:11 pm Hopefully we don’t go into next season with comments like “7th isn’t good enough”. I honestly think Paul Casson has given up on his vision of promotion to the he Football League.Jonty wrote: ↑Sun Apr 29, 2018 12:54 pm We were so close to being relegated but if it is the let off that will give us the opportunity to sort things out then I’ll take that. Howard Hughes has been seen more lately!
He has passed the job onto Red Adair Andrew Casson.
I cannot see any serious investment in either the stadium or the players next season.
