As a matter of interest, who were our early signings last year?

Asa Hall, Bedsente Gomis, Dan Jones, Jordan White and Bradley Bauress were signed in June/July. Donovan Makoma at the start of August.

Others, Thierry Audel for example, were playing in friendlies in July but may not have been signed at that point.

I stood outside for nearly 15 mins after the final whistle last Saturday - with about 5/6 others.
About 10-15 had already departed after waiting for around 5 mins.
Eventually, a young lass arrived to open up. The club lost revenue. Now, if Paul/Andrew Casson believe that losing money from 10-15 fans doesn't really matter in the vast scheme of things, fair enough. However; it doesn't really promote good business acumen, does it?

Get it sorted for next season, please.

Having a team photograph ready for the Club Programme/EM prior to the start of next season would be a good idea, too. I don't think the absence of Paul Casson really matters (the excuse given last season for the lack of a photo).

The above points may only be trivial.
However; it's the small details that help in the overall scheme of things - and stop us looking tin pot!

Most of, if not all team photo's do not have the Chair or Directors in. The Chairman and a 'select' few of the Directors appeared in the first picture under the then new regime.Only under Pennock have the players been in town as a group regularly to have had a picture done.
Most pre seasons, when pictures are taken have seen the club still loaded with trialists hence taking a picture has been difficult.Also one time the kit at the time hadn't arrived until a few days before the season started and had to be named and numbered ( read into that what you will)

It's been and gone. We've stayed up and he admitted months ago that it was a stupid thing to say and he never should have said it. Why do we have to keep going back to it?

I don't think it should be consigned to room 101 just yet!!

No, it wasn't. DaveC, who would have taken it, believes it was because Paul Cox didn't want it to happen.

I'm not exactly certain but I'm sure it was DaveC (in a post related to the team photo) who stated that Paul Casson wanted to be in the photo but because he wasn't in the country, at the time, didn't want a photo of the team taken. Apologies to DaveC if I'm incorrect but somebody did state that in a post on here.

Interested to know what suggested reason he didn't want it to happen having been a reasonably happy and successful time at that period. Presume he's had plenty of squad photos done before.

The reign of Papa Cass has to be the most bizarre in AFC’s history as despite all the ‘millionaire’ bluster nothing new has been achieved. In two separate twists of fate Fylde got us promoted to the National League and Dover kept us in it; having said that I suppose we did get some Argos floodlights to behold. Our intial acceptance and gratitude to PC is wearing thin and embarrassment seems to be the residual feeling regarding the club’s overall performance both on and off the field this term.

We’ve been in worse situations of course but this time our old friends disaster and despair have been replaced by disappointment and disillusion. Things have to improve significantly all round for us all to give it another go in good faith next season for what I feel will be PC’s last hurrah. So semper sursum - hope for the best but expect the worst.

I would suggest the dust hasn't settled at all yet.
But great post BA, and kudos to all those fans that attended so many games, home and away, but especially at home considering the utter garbage they evidently had to endure, time and again.
What happens over the summer will tell us all precisely what the aims of the club are.

That's the thing. We are used to be in the position of scrounging and fighting...but we were led down the path of expecting more and it just hasn't materialised. Hope is horrible.
