With the benefit of hindsight, I really don’t think we can glory in that.
That's what you say about Blair too.

Is there still a working party on a Sunday or did the Cassons stop it?

Although at the time it was exciting - Jeff Parker lolloping around like a giraffe at the back etc.
That's what I meant LB - Mike Marsh and Andy Mutch playing for Barrow (although Andy didnt do mutch), the Main Stand cordoned off as the start of the ground redevelopment, winning the NPL at a canter - heady times. Most knew it would end in tears but as always we hoped for the best but feared the worst.
We will foller the soccer, over land and sea...

Paul Casson is the best owner this club has every had. I suggest instead of moaning about him you actually support the club and get behind his ambition and plans for the future.

Well said Tez we all like the guy and appreciate what he has done (and continues to do) for the club.

But what are his "ambition and plans for the future" that you mention?

I can't say that I have heard or read much from the owner recently in regard to such matters.

When he took over he said we would aim to be a Football League side in 5 years and we are pretty much already there. Weve touched the play offs a couple of season ago and now with the right people in place Paul and more importantly his son Andrew can now push on for the Football League.
It was only late 2015 when PC said he would kick on with ground plans in the new year and he did. We got a new boiler system, gave the cross bar a much needed lick of paint and got some new floodlights which replaced ones that were becoming a hazard.
If thats not ambition then you will have to explain what is. Or would you rather us be playing in the glue leagues cause we wouldn't exist if it wasn't for Casson.

Casson has said that he plans to build a new stadium on the HS site that will be closer to £10 million than £5 million and I know he will follow through with that.

Big Tez is one of the worst parodies we’ve had on here, far too obvious
