Whilst much has been rightly said about the poor attendance from Barrow supporters, I think that Wrexham deserve praise for bringing 116 to Holker Street in mid week on an inclement evening.

Disagree, I guessed 250/300 pre match. If we were 3rd in the league we would have taken double to wrexham.

Agreed, we've took close to that to wrexham on a Thursday, considering they average 5000 are having there best season in years and less than a 3 hours drive , I thought it was shocking

Just a bad time of the year people are holding on to their money for whatever reasons.
Roughly the same time of the year last season there was only 940 odd against Bromley at home and that was a Saturday game. I did think we would of had 1000 plus last night though.
Enjoyable game, but sadly no end product as better finishing from both sides would of still had us as eventual winners.

Hi ,quick perspective from a wrexham point of view ( hope you don’t mind ) . Firstly the game itself you were the better side on the night but like us of late you had no cutting edge. On Saturday we took apart Leyton Orient but couldn’t put the ball in the net and they did a smash and grab on us. Secondly the attendance. Although I agree our following was poor especially considering we have taken more than 1500 to chesterfield and Solihull this season plus 700 to Harrogate on a Tuesday night, there was more than the 116 announced. I was behind the goal and counted 92 ( that sort of game ) and I’m sure there was more than 24 in the stand. I bought 3 tickets on line from barrow on the Monday to save us £2 each and printed them off to be scanned. When we got to the turnstile the bloke seemed shocked at this modern technology and gave us each a complimentary, I wonder if these are counted . Anyway good luck for the rest of the season and probably see you next year.

Cheers for that. The fans on the popular side never had stubs taken. Not sure what's going on but my guess is that a few mistakes were made and the gate was about 1000, which I thought would of been about right.
Looked more than 850 and your total looked more like 150 to 170
Still disappointing but looking around the national league last night.
Salford about 800 to 1000 down
Boreham Wood and Braintree under 500 fans
Hartlepool 1700. Down 800

Only Leyton Orient who are top got over 4000

Just reflecting on last two games, have to say what a positive impact Kemy Agustien and Jacob Blyth have had coming in and instantly giving us a lift. All of a sudden we have options and can make changes. We look like a side that has a lot more to offer.

although it ended 0-0 anybody who never enjoyed that then I think theres something wrong with them ! glad I braved the cold ! proper game of football ! 100 per cent effort and commitment from both teams ! overall we were the better team although only just ! glad I went just wish more barrow public would do the same !

Good game on tuesday and the weather wasn't that bad. The low crowd is not surprising given that City and United were both playing in Europe. Simple solution- play on a monday or thursday when home games clash with Champions league.

Yes,its a fact. I know of two people and one, personally that didn't/dont attend for this very reason when Paul Casson owned the club. To me,these people were just looking for an excuse not to come anyway !.There again, they might have been genuine in their convictions. Either way, as far as I can make out they have now got used to 'not' coming.

Very happy with that performance when up against one of the top sides in the league, the goal the only thing that was missing. No one put a foot wrong. Blyth up top makes a massive difference and won the majority of his headers when up against that shithouse Pearson.

Disappointing attendance - one of the turnstile operators on the pop side wasn't ripping the stubs from the tickets so not sure if that made a difference - it looked correct to me. I'm guessing he was counting up in his head.

Hope this person is honest and not dipping there fingers etc, not accusing anyone but the club need to make sure everything is above board, So to speak.

I take back my post here & fully apologize for suggesting anything may have been underhand here as I’ve been informed by someone in the know that a highly respectable person volunteered at the last min to help the club out & possibably unaware you need to keep the small tab in the booklet, So to speak & Many Thanks for volunteering.

I find it totally bizarre someone who follows the club therefore is a club supporter would stop going just because the Owner at the time has a difference of opinion in Politics or anything really, Odd.
