Joel was a worthy Man of the Match for us, total concentration and two great saves - I was saying on the way down that he doesn't seem to be dropping that one clanger per game anymore. Word on the shiny new concrete terraces was that it would probably be Augstien's last game in a Barrow shirt; I hope not as he has been superb for us and is that quality midfielder we have needed for years. I would even go as far as to say that he has the potential to be another Alex Ray-Harvey.

Have had to monitor the last few games from afar and what a tremendous run of results. Great away support here and had to look twice at the gate v Salford in front of the cameras. Chuffed for the new owners and everyone at the club. Onwards and upwards.

Pleased for Dixon. Recovered from a bad injury and was second choice. Taken his chance well. Always had faith in him whereas many on here didn't.

Dixon & Jameson have both come on leaps and bounds in the last month or so, both looking so confident at the moment.

Both teams could have claimed a win in that final ten minutes as there were chances at either end, thankfully Rowe couldn’t make more his late half chance mainly due to Granite managing to cover for a rare Taylor mistake.
The ref let all the shirt pulling and arms wrapped around our players go all match...back to Earth with a bump after the one we had against Salford.

For those who complained about our turnstile waiting time, try queuing in a “hi tech” Mill Lane ticket queue! Left the pub at 2:15, arrived at the ground at 2:30 and we still missed the first six or seven minutes of the game.

Fantastic run, just need attendances to improve now.

To be fair, Fylde advised buying tickets online and then scanning the QR code at the gate. I did this and walked straight through with no queue at 14:55

That’s fair enough but obviously lots never did that and to be stood in a queue for thirty odd minutes is pretty ridiculous. At one point there was one bloke trying to man a “card only” “cash only” and a “card and cash” desk...he managed that by taking one ticket order off alternate queues!
To be so badly prepared when they knew we’d be bringing plenty of support is pretty poor.

No complaints about the bloke manning the ticket desks as he was doing his best.

35 minutes queuing, well yes I think that’s quite a justifiable complaint.
Judging by the reaction of another 100 people in the same three queues I don’t think I was the only one feeling slightly annoyed.

The system obviously doesn't take into account that not everyone has access to a computer. Particularly older people. Just because it works ok for those who do shouldn't mean the ones who don't have to put up with long queues.
I encounted the same when we played Tranmere a few seasons ago. A system that was flawed and despite us getting there in good time for the kick off got into the ground 20 mins late.

The electronic ticketing and organisation was farcically bad, as was the overpriced fizzy beer. I do like the away end though and we took good numbers and made a real racket.

A cagey affair (better football than last year's visit from both) which we dominated in patches. Rowe didn't get much of a sniff which shows the improvement. Was nice to see Joel Dixon play that well in front of a big Barrow crowd. He's never going to be one of those 'character' keepers but he's a good shot stopper, good one and one and in the main his handling is excellent. He's won us points this year rather than lost them.

Eight points from that run of games is tremendous- but as IE said somewhere, we've got to drive the stake into Hampshire hearts on Saturday. Looking forward to the trip, we go in pretty good nick.

There seemed to be problems with preprinted paper tickets. We went via the ticket office for ours just after two entered the ground fifteen minutes before kick off without problem not even frisked. Two sides that cancelled each other out for the most part. Both had chance, so as much as I would of liked a win to balance out what should of been on boxing day happy with the draw.
As said elsewhere phenomenal support a real credit to themselves and the club.
