He said that he was "disappointed that Barrow have gone down that road". But it's okay for him to tell the press whose bids he's turned down for Danny Rowe... What a hypocrite. If Evatt went there, he'd not have a single well-wisher from Barrow, I'm sure.

Other than money I can't see why he'd want to go.
If Ian Evatt stays at Barrow until the end of the season and makes the play offs his stock will be so high in the game, he'd have a number of lower football league sides after him.

He would be known as the up and coming Manager who had taken a side with a low budget, into the play offs and perhaps more importantly playing attractive football.

If he moves to Fylde it's a no win situation, yes Fylde have a big budget but they're EXPECTED to make the play offs so even if he manages that most people wont see it as a major achievement.

Graham Alexander got Salford promoted, Mickey Mellon did the same at Fleetwood but I wouldn't say their careers benefitted as a result.

The Cowley brothers successful career has been built on improving unattractive clubs they as we all know have gone from lower non league to managing in the Championship with Huddersfield. They seem to have taken a long term view with regards to their career rather take a short financial gain.

It was good to hear Paul Hornby openly discussing what's going on at the club on and off the field.

He stated Ian Evatt was a young man with ambition and I think he has got a good head on him.
He will reflect on what happened to him at Chesterfield.
I think the takeover came at the right time as with this board he seems to have a good working relationship.
When he leaves he will go to a bigger club than any in the National league.
What he is achieving is amazing as he keeps telling us on one of lower budgets in the league.
He is building his CV.

I have spoken with a former member of this forum this morning and its not him. He has not been on here for a good 12 months - so to single him out on here without any evidence is bang out of order. Does it not register in your head that the person who posted the rumour genuinely believes its true - or that they have been told the info by someone else. Regardless, this person is entitled to thier own opinion - u cant start attacking people because u disagree with them.

I think IE will stay, he seems a man of his word.
