because it's 2 up from the NL and only 1 down from the EFL it would only be 3 teams not 4 going down - so Maidenhead would/should vote for PPG not N+V
I had pointed that out on our forum, but did not want to edit his post on here as only the part about the Dover Chairman was relevant.
Although I see there is indeed a swear filter on this forum, but not on ours...yet.
By my schoolboy maths calculation I believe Maidenhead would be saved at the expense of Fylde on an unweighted PPG basis by approx. 0.02 of a point. That would be terrible.

I would say it has to be for 3 reasons :

Integrity of the football pyramid.

The National league have already been to the F.A. to seek an extension to play or attempt to have the playoffs.

The National League have also been vocal about 3 up /3 down .if they did null and void this would never happen!

So to Quote Ian Drury "reasons to be cheerful 1, 2 3. :D

Much as it got up my nose to be told over the last few years what a great role model Fylde were for us, and much as it annoyed me that they tried to buy our manager, perhaps we should be humble and have sympathy for their fans. As we know all too well, and all too often, it is a horrible feeling to see the club you support relegated. There but for the grace of God....etc.

Yes, I saw that, and it's a ridiculous argument - I guess it came from Stockport. The fact is that, due to their postponed home matches, Barnet have played more away games than home, yet still have a superior (unweighted) PPG. And the backlog would have worked against them had the season continued, in terms of fixture congestion.

They support Blackpool really, so they're probably not too bothered.

The Fylde owner deserves his club to be relegated for his pathetic personal attack on Evo in their match-day programme. Total lack of class. Lucky Evo didn't punch his lights out. Good riddance.

When do we expect white smoke (or smokescreen) from the NL meeting?
