Re: Ian Evatt
If they are wind up merchants, what's the actual point? I thought wind up were meant to be funny, these posts are mind numbing

Re: Ian Evatt
I think compo is based on remaining contract × the salary. If I had my way it would be a million.

The point is over 10 pages of complete hot air being generated within a 24 hour period. Its not what's actually cooking in the pot. It who's stirring it!Paulmichael wrote: ↑Wed Jun 24, 2020 10:59 am If they are wind up merchants, what's the actual point? I thought wind up were meant to be funny, these posts are mind numbing
Re: Ian Evatt
The fee needs to be agreed by the two clubs - it's arbitrary and in Evatt's case, it seems to be a fee that has been agreed upon between him and Hornby when he signed his new contract. Could be any amount really.barrow-mike wrote: ↑Wed Jun 24, 2020 11:11 amI think compo is based on remaining contract × the salary. If I had my way it would be a million.
If the clubs don't agree, but Evatt moves anyway - he's in breach of his contract and a tribunal would decide (probably based on salary and remaining time on his contract, but also a fee for the disruption caused).
That's what I understand the rules to be, anyway.

Seen things on twitter that attribute sky sports as saying he's set to talk over at Bolton but nothing concrete, guess will just have to wait and see.
