Unfortunately-I agree with you.
I think the stage has now arrived where this cannot be allowed to on on any longer because the way things are going with this government, the League two season could be on us sooner rather than later.
As well as taking the edge of the clubs great achievement, it's putting undue stress on a lot of fans of this club and it's also not fair on the genuine Bolton fans.

This, we had been stressing for months over the decision on the league outcome. Then, we aren't even allowed to enjoy that fully for no more than a few days before this nonsense started. Like someone else has said this is just very Barrowish. Hope it gets sorted asap

Agree. Its now getting very tiring and its sad that it has detracted from the elation of the achievement. The club has actually got a great deal going for it at this moment and is in fact a great project for someone to manage. Yesterdays raffle in aid of the GMV was indicative of just how connected the supporters are with the club at the moment. There is masses of goodwill. Even I can see that there is potential for future development.

If the opportunity that this brings is not enough or is surpassed by your longer term ambition, domestic priorities or financial issues then you shouldn't be here.

The problem is that Bolton seem to think that they can get Ian Evatt for nothing or next to nothing if they hold out so even if we would all now like it resolved to achieve that would mean giving in to their demands and, IMO, we should not do that under any circumstances. By dragging this on they will hurt themselves more than us.

Last season we only won 1 in 7 of the first games we stuck with him.The mask slipped when he slagged off John Goodwin for comments he made about a game we had lost he was totally out of order.
RC made statements backing John Goodwin.
He even had a go at Adam after a game asking him Did he not think he aS up to the role .
There is not much loyalty in football .
He praised this new Board compared to the previous owners and he is rewarded us by dragging us through this twice Fylde and now Bolton.
If you listen to his interview on RC he said Oyston would not accept over a million for him which meant he lost out on money then he got injured and his contract was not renewed.

Evatt has every right to go but let's not have this say one thing do another

He was all for finishing the job at Barrow,maybe he will go into politics next.
Hopefully he goes to Bolton and we get the cash and he gets his just deserts

I did not ask him that at all - I asked him if he felt that the players mistakes which at the time were costing results were putting him under pressure

As has been said he's a rookie manager and people - esp his agent - are taking advantage of his lack of experience.

He has no lack of ambition which is great, but some loyalty to the club that gave him his chance would also be welcome.

However it seems we have gone past the point of no return so stick to your guns Mr Hornby - get the money you want - choose a new manager - and start to enjoy the future of this great club.

Agreed, SB, it is getting very tiring. I'd put it more strongly and say the last six days have been TORTURE. And I only skim the surface of what's going on because I find it too wearying to dig and dig and dig into the possible options arising and machinations unfolding. I do not possess the strength to try and unscramble, decode or second guess all the bites/half-bites that present themselves. That would be torture times a hundred. And you've done this hard on the heels of all the intensive undercover work you carried out on the "Decisions Being Made" thread. You must have one iron constitution. I don't know how you have managed to retain your sanity. I reckon you deserve a four-month world cruise after all the exhaustive effort you have applied to try and understand what is going on in the minds of unscrupulous agents and authority figures. But a four-month world cruise? I guess that would be TORTURE too as you would miss watching us play in Division 2. Sometimes you just can't win! Life is hard! A choice between two rotten eggs! All the best and thanks for your efforts in trying to keep the people informed. Hope to see you on the terraces soon . . . unless you decide that that world cruise is the less tortuous option of the two . . .
