Some good stuff said but the training pitches seems a bit off an excuse was fine last year. Im not having that this new pitch is identical to ours plays the same ect every pitch is different. 4G pitches play quick as out as well and our old facility had that. Jollies off to england games with 2 games in 5 days? would have preferred to have heard I'm getting the prep in place for harrogate and bolton real short turn around for these games with big implications if points ain’t picked up grimsby won the other night and where only ahead of Southend's under 19’s and Oldham's sinking ship and macc’s

Yeah looks like a good honest interview hopefully the new training ground will help the lads better. He mentions wages are the main issue when recruiting which was interesting, good that he has so many top managers to call upon also such as phoning big Sam in the same morning

The way i seen that was the pitch has gave the squad the injuries or realistically perhaps it was a too aggressive pre season pushing to hard? Strange how its mostly been hamstring injuries

The Hopwood pitch isn't as well kept as last year either apparently, partly due to their own issues with contractors and possibly Covid etc. Also, with the return of students it was extremely difficult to share and keep Covid secure.

It took some time to try and resolve it, eventually this involved venue identification etc then working out a deal.

What precisely would you like him to have done in the time he was watching England to prepare for the next two games?

Analyse the game the day after the orient match.

Think we are still probably underplaying the dangers of COVID. Movement away from a shared facility with students is a very wise thing to do irrespective of comparisons of surface quality.

Its only a matter of time before one of our games is called off due to a COVID outbreak. I'm quite surprised it hasn't already happened to us. I can foresee a season in which some teams in L2 will find themselves quite a few games adrift of others perhaps close to the end of the season. .

The more games in hand you have the better PPG works for you, like Barnet and Wycombe last season.

Needs to look a bit harder with current form maybe a bit more detail eh or we can continue to be bottom 4

Personally I think DD should be banned from watching television and fed rations at least until we've won a game.

Rations can be adjusted depending on the nature of a draw (increase for Colchester, decrease for Orient) but sharply reduced in defeat (obviously).
