Tests have shown that shouting and cheering at football matches can spread the virus. If the club condone it they could be on the end of a few lawsuits.![]()
don't get me wrong I'm just as worried as the next person about the virus but masks create a false sense of security i.e. people stop social distancing( I actually pointedthis out at workand they changedthe guidelines),and as I said unless they are of medically protected standard they are of little use and if the virus is on the mask people are constantly touching them which again would spread the virus, there hope that clears everything up![]()

Re: Vs Cheltenham town (next match)
Thought I read somewhere that the club have tightened up on the wearing of masks and they expect them to be worn at all times apart from when spectators are eating and drinking.
It may not be enforceable by law but as the owners of the ground, the club can ‘ask you to leave’ if you don’t comply with their wishes.
They must have taken advice on this move and are rightly acting on it.
Take your point about wearing masks giving people a false sense of security and I see that all Asda stores will be employing security guards next week to make sure there are not too many people in the store.
Can’t wait to see the back of this year and hoping that 2021 will be better.

Pitch was already holding alot of water where the pitch was damaged when erecting the HS end. I'm sure Gareth will work wonders as he always does. However none of us can stop the rain that's going to hit Friday. Only my thoughts ..behind the goals wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 8:55 pmHope you are joking was going to clean my windows on Friday can`t see many going now on Saturday who in the right mind would get wet watching a football match.whitty1969 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 8:17 pm Prediction Game off waterlogged pitch.

Might give us a chance to get rid of Kelly and get in a decent manager before it’s played!whitty1969 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 9:00 pmPitch was already holding alot of water where the pitch was damaged when erecting the HS end. As it appens I was thinkin the same and, the floodlights were on when I last looked out about fifteen minutes ago. Working on the pitch I guess.

Thats great. I wear glasses. If I wear a mask I wont see a bloody thing.
Re: Vs Cheltenham town (next match)
I would be very concerned if we did have someone in place by Saturdays game. For me it would show we hadn’t done our due diligence and explored all avenues available. More haste less speed on this one me thinks!Reginald wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 9:17 pmbluessupporter wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 9:07 pm

Re: Vs Cheltenham town (next match)
I agree Mark. I made the comment assuming that Saturdays game would be called off due to a waterlogged pitch which was being discussed in the thread, and we would be playing it later in the season.
Like you IMO it is very important that we hold proper interviews, and they choose the right man or we could be lost in the non-league world.

Yer the midfield lads can go back to a time when they could actually run we have no engine thereLCBAFC40 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 3:59 pm Honestly thought we'd improve after DD went and the ending to last nights game sums us up perfectly! We are the only team in EFL2 that haven't got a point in the last 5 games so that shows you how bad we are. We haven't won a match for over 10 games now. We've lost 8 games by only 1 goal and 6 of the games we have drawn we were leading. Something needs to give soon but Cheltenham are a great side - yes they lost last night to Bolton but that means nothing. If Kelly or a new manager doesn't get the team selection right then we could get thumped !
All opinions expressed are my own , not here to cause kick off just enact debate.

My thoughts exactly. Giving it a miss in that case. Sitting shoulder to shoulder with the person next to me is ok though?kenny lowe fan club wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 10:10 pm Thats great. I wear glasses. If I wear a mask I wont see a bloody thing.
