But the absolute certainty that he will pass it back or sideways enrages folk in the same way Ruthers used to turn back inside pointlessly every week.
Let's hope that the new management can change that.

Yep me too, now I’ve seen him play on many occasions I’m the same, don’t like him anymore. I’ve just watched yesterday’s game again, I seriously think Aberdeen Steve would have been more beneficial to Barrow if he’d played than Boggins.
I could do a job. But not a footballing one. As for worst etc..did anyone watch the last half century or so?

I'm not convinced, especially by his decision making but one thing he does do more than anyone in that midfoeld is show for the ball. Also in terms of ground covered he is top of the stats every week apparently.

But the absolute certainty that he will pass it back or sideways enrages folk in the same way Ruthers used to turn back inside pointlessly every week.
Sensible and to the point. Covering ground is all well and good, but if you don't do anything else it's academic.
We hate Carlisle United, we hate Workington too (and Morecambe), we hate Accrington Stanley but Barrow we love you :scarf:

Just curious to what stats hes top of ? Most meters means nothing if you don't pass or tackle etc or create most chances but if hes doing more than other lads then fair play and maybe some criticism is not justified. I think a lot of the negative comments are from when you see lads get the ball up in opposition half and it lands at Biggins for example and then the play stops and go backwards or a poor pass like i saw a few times yesterday.

Yep I sure know what stats he’s top of. MJ is a clever man and Boggins will be gone.I seriously find it incredible that some people rate him, some clowns on here that’s for sure, my advice is watch and record anything constructive he does, also how balls he gives away.

Sorry but to me danny rowe was insult enough I don’t want Fleetwood’s cast offs. Not sorry. He’s proven me right.

It's not whether people rate him or don't rate him. It's whether you should be digging him out with a specific post... during a game... that we're winning...

Like or Loathe him, He is trying in games & our coaches all seem to think he offers us something the others don’t but....This will change soon enough as Hardcastle will be above him in the pecking order & whoever the club bring in will be given time to shine, So thst said we will be seeing a bit less of him id imagine & TBF his last 2 games have been better for him & us & as long as he pulls on our shirt he deserves better support

Never saw that Didier Deschamps do much in a game but he was a winner. Some times the hole is greater than the sum of the pants. And I say that as someone who has played in Sunday League.

I get the point, but it's a fans forum. For fans opinions. Pointing out an opinion of someone's performances isn't "digging someone out". Personal abuse fair enough, but criticism is par for the course in professional football. He's getting paid, as is everyone in the team, and therefore everyone has a right to comment as paying customers and (in a lot of cases) owners of 10% of the club.
To censor any negative remarks surrounding the staff and club and tell everyone to mindlessly praise everyone is a bit North Korea. I support and cheer the lad on every week, but I'll form my own opinion too, based on what I see on the pitch. He might very well be trying his socks off, (see previous point about most yards covered) but that alone, isn't enough to warrant a place in the team and a starting berth.
I didn't see this much kick back for the criticism of Byron Harrison last season even though most of us said he wasn't up to it.
On that point, the posts saying we won so get off his case. We won a couple of early round cup games with Harrison up front last season. Didn't mean he was up to it.

Biggins is playing in Hardcastles position and I'm sure that when Lewis is back, which could be a while yet, he will be dropped! Now, he has nowhere near the quality or drive Lewis offers but surely a goal and an assist in the last two games show some improvement?

Totally agree. People come on a football forum and are surprised and offended when people have an opinion.

What is more interesting is that people think that what they write on here actually matters. Its a place to chat amongst fans....nothing more. If a professional footballer can't handle an internet forum then they are in the wrong business.

Would add that I agree that personal abuse is well too far and shouldnt be tolerated etc.
And on the 7th day god created football

Don’t think he is as bad as people are making out. Certainly not pulled up any trees and he’s definitely had the odd shocker but he seems to work hard and looks like he cares. Think he has a decent right peg. Two managers both believe in him so he must have something.

Kind of reminds me a bit of Andy bond - who was terrible in his first season but then came good. Let’s see what Jolley does with him.
