Re: Biggins
I started this thread so I’ll finish it, this guy hopefully will not play for us again. He is not good enough for this level of football. And the people who questioned my original criticism of him and who stuck up for him........... I rest my [SwearFilter] case.

It is their job to assess, accept or reject players, so let's give them a chance to do their job.
Ship out those who they consider not to be good enough, and bring in players who they think will be better.
We can have opinions but it is they who will make the decisions so I suggest we bring this thread to a close and let them get on with it.![]()
It’s not possible to ‘ ship out ‘ players that don’t want to go. They don’t even have to go out on loan. They are on contract so can hang around doing not much, just training and sitting in the stands every Saturday. They are also part of the PFA so not easy to ‘ make life difficult ‘ to make them leave. They will have mortgages and bills to pay so will just sit tight. They are not good for team spirit or the club but that’s the way it is.

Re: Biggins
other than players going out on loan the only departures we could see are Jack Hindle and Chris Taylor as I think both are only contracted until the end of December. Hindle is almost certain to go to allow an additional place in the squad. Taylor I think will definitely be kept.vialli 9 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 29, 2020 10:59 pmbluessupporter wrote: ↑Mon Dec 28, 2020 5:52 pm Everybody is entitled to an opinion, but we now have a new management team in place.

Re: Biggins
Wouldn’t be surprised if Sea goes out on loan and/or Reid goes back
Re: Biggins
Not seen the 2nd yellow again tonight, but for the last 2 possibly 3 games he’s been our better centre mid.

Re: Biggins
Bizarre this hate for Biggins. 3 different managers / coaches have deemed him good enough to start and yet every time he touches the ball it’s as if he’s killed a man. Get a grip
Re: Biggins
So perhaps one of the Tranmere players on the coach up had a look at the Barrow forum. Perhaps he told his mates “ hey look at this- the Barrow fans are really having a go at one of their players Biggins- he’s playing tonight let’s wind him up we might get him sent off’ . And what happens just after we equalise and start to get on top there is a little altercation and a second booking for Biggins and he is off. So the mindless slaggers could well have cost us two points.Well done. And moderators please do your job. Any post that starts a thread saying one of our players is ‘absolutely fukin clueless ‘ should be deleted immediately. Also no manager is going to base team selection on the ill informed comments of a handful of morons on a football forum. This thread does no credit to Barrow AFC and does nothing to help our cause.

I doubt the Tranmere players thought they'd have a quick look on the Barrow forum for some potential tactical inspiration.EL CHAS wrote: ↑Tue Dec 29, 2020 11:40 pm So perhaps one of the Tranmere players on the coach up had a look at the Barrow forum. I'm off to feed the swans down the rezza.
Steve Herbert supports the nob theory - Saturday 4th February 2012.
If this bus crashed and everybody on it died, Barrow football would end - Daz Boyle, Boston away, August 9th 2014.

Re: Biggins
At the end of the day its up to the Manager who plays, whos in his squad not us. I've said before im not Biggins biggest fan because i just think he lacks experience and it shows with his decision making esp in attack but is he our worst player? I didn't really rate any of our midfielders last night. Positioning, energy etc were all poor and i think thats been the problem all season. We are definitely lacking a couple of engines in midfield esp one who can pass the ball forward to the strikers.

Re: Biggins
The lad makes mistakes but to boo him and groan every time he gets a touch off the ball before he even makes a mistake is wrong yes criticise but the abuse hes getting IMO has gone to far Byron Harrison did nt get the same treatment last year and he was bloody awful.

Re: Biggins
I think everyone’s forgetting that he’s a centre midfielder/ central attacking midfielder. Not a right midfielder which won’t help with his performances...
