Not Norman Bodells (on planet Pedro)
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

I think it more likely that Paul Hornby and Levi Gill would have fancied it less with Michael Jolly still in charge.

Nearly every post no matter what subject or what crises we are in you have to have a political dig usually against the tories. This is a Football forum as I have pointed out out before. You need to shove your red flag where the sun doesn’t shine or post on general matters section not this one.Stick to subject in hand future of team and club in which you usually moan but can make good sense on occasion.😡
.
There is nothing wrong with Pedro's post in mentioning the corrupt racist liar who is [SwearFilter] this country over big style.
Now you can go and shove your Tories,Dido Harding and the rest of those scum where the sun don't shine.
As Liverpool Anne rightly points out, this is a football forum. If you and Pedro want to talk politics and Korea and all that other [SwearFilter] that comes out when he posts, we have a section for that. This isn’t it.

Two different points this Board have made mistakes but they got us where we are Bodell brought numerous players in one I think if I remember correctly Barry Mcarthur from Forrest ,think he managed 8 games.
As someone who stood on the terrace before our none league days and in the start wondering were everyone was Planet Pedro is much more realistic than your planet.
You sound like a ex brother in law never learning lessons from the past ,think he is on wife No 7.
Keep the faith

Orient fan here who has looked out for the Bluebirds ever since as a kid you got voted out in the early 70s.

Know how tough it is to win the National League then lose the manager, the O’s tragically with Edinburgh of course, and the first season up is inevitably disrupted, continuity is lost at a time the club needs it most. Really hope Rob Kelly does the business for you, and if you keep in L2 this season you’ve really got something to build on. Wishing you the best of luck!

Its called humour and we do have the village idiot running the country.
Politics is stopping us watching games quite rightly the furlough scheme is a political decision. so football is not going on in isolation, but can imagine anyone who voted for this rabble would not want reminding.
I will try and be a little bit more sensitive.

I’ve missed Pedro’s discursive posts.

Thank you. It's been a roller-coaster but without many of the 'up' bits. Kelly showed in his few games in charge last time that he can get us playing something like. We hope he can do it for 19 more.
Don't let the old man in.

So are we to believe Jolley was punted because the Board didn't like the style of football? To me that seems a convenient excuse. If we'd won 6 from 7 hoofing it nobody would give a crap. Sounds like there has been a big fallout between Jolley and the players and perhaps Jolley was even accusing some of not trying a leg for him. Dunno. Maybe in time the truth will come out. What a weird season.

I’m thinking along the same lines that there was some kind of set-to after the game in the dressing room and the BoDs were either in it or got wind of it.
When there were local lads in the team you got to know who had who by the throat but not nowadays. Hopefully the air has been cleared and the players will want to show Jolley the error of his ways. Let’s hope for a big improvement all round.
