One of the core principles of Baracelona https://soccer-training-info.com/barcel ... cond_rule/

A thing of beauty that will be a joy forever.
We will foller the soccer, over land and sea...

I don't think we press anywhere near the levels other teams do to us. Harrogate the latest team to do this and forced a few rushed errors when we tried playing it out from the back. Yet we seem to be happy to let teams bring the ball to the half way line, tracking and marking pass lanes.
My biggest observation in almost all the games we have played.

It was very noticeable with Harrogate. It really does seem odd why pretty much all season we’ve not changed that side of our game.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

It was obvious from the first 5 games that many teams operate with two high press strikers.

We did press v Oldham
Their centre halves were sick of the sight of Luke James and Scott Quigley by the end of the game

Vast improvements needed Saturday, hopefully a back 5 with wing backs who are encouraged to get forward and Devitt behind the strikers will do the job. We can’t afford to keep being beat or just picking points here and there. Need to start turning these into Wins which means actually having a go like we did at Oldham

I’d rather us go down trying to fight and win games than going down sitting waiting for other sides to make moves

One of my observations is that I don't think quite a few of our lads are mobile enough in terms of no spring in their step-sluggish, maybe not fit enough.
I'm not gonna mention their names but two or three look to me like they are not capable of a sprint and are more like carthorses.
The Harrogate players to a man looked really fit and 'agile'.
