I think the minimum we have to do is to hang onto the spine of our team.If we to.lose Scott Quigley,Joel Dixonsnd Rob Kelly decided to move on I think we would be in serious trouble as a team.I for one do not to go through another season of upevil like the one we have just been through.Thanks to Rob Kelly we made the Great Escape.He agreed to take over a second time,when the team was in a mess and the threat of relegation was hanging over us.Thanks to him he managed to form those players into a cohesive unit.It,s not always been pretty but got the desired result.What people need to realise is that a lot if our new players had not played competitive football for most of the season.To criticise Devitt is unfair.He has made some great contributions to our results.We need to keep the these players together for next season and add maybe another striker.We need to start the season with a settled format and move forward.So come on everyone get behind your team and give them a chance.

if Quigs went it wouldn't be for peanuts so if these things happen so be it , Dixon can be replaced and I'm sure the manager decision is already made !DON'T PANIC!

Don't think so. They had high hopes of Crellin as he was an England Youth international and I think they would have tried to sign him permanently at the end of his loan but he turned out to be a disaster. Gilks has played well but because of his age they will be looking for another goalkeeper. Players generally have more loyalty to a manager than to a club although their loyalty to money is the top of the list. I would be very surprised if any of the players who played for us under Evatt, wouldn't go to Bolton in a flash if he wanted them and they were out of contract. I would be surprised if he would be interested in any of our current players other than Quigley and Platt and, apparently he can't sign either of those for next season. I also wouldn't be the least surprised if Rooney ends up at Bolton although Stockport's very rich owner can probably offer him more money than Bolton. I suspect Evatt would also have been interested in Lewis Hardcastle in different circumstances.

If Bolton get into L1 I'd be surprised if they go anywhere near any of our current or ex players. Would've thought they'd be building for another promotion.
