Brentford fan here. Sorry to interrupt your thread! I just wanted to say congratulations on you staying up! I for one was rooting for you. It would have been a tragedy if you had gone straight back down after all the years it has taken to get back - and with no fans able to see it!

We Bees' fans feared similar when on the verge of the Prem last year but managed successfully to screw up our opportunity in the PO final! :) Bit of a relief to be honest!

Anyway, have a good rest of the season and good luck for next year!!

If we are talking managers the talk of Neil McDonald is just weird, he’s done nothing as a manager and the only the reason he’s being thought of is that he managed our Cumberland “rivals” think we should be spreading our net wider than Carlisle cast off’s, don’t think we should be taking risks on Sam Hird either but we should keep him around on the coaching staff.
Richie Wellens is available.

Promotion but think the wheels were coming off .
Quigley had a ban to serve.I do not think we would have got automatic promotion.
This year we have survived by the of our skin of our teeth.
Let's make the next season back better one.

Only because their ego-riddled z-list celebrity owners have very little patience. Lets not forget they bombed out the two lads who got them three successive promotions because they wanted a 'name' at the head, then sacked him because he didn't win instant promotion.Wouldn't surprise me to see Mr Giggs in charge soon as he's now on the scrapheap.

if we're on about managers Neil Ardley always comes across as a decent guy with a good philosophy regarding how to play football also managed at this level!

Winning the National League by far the biggest achievement we were the best side in the league while to stay in the league you only have to be better than the two worst teams but credit to Kelly for getting us safe and he deserves the chance to take it on if he wants it but he needs to demonstrate that he can get his sides playing more football ,I accept we had to play safety first football to survive but playing that way you will always be towards the bottom of the table, the midfield needs a complete overall and we need to find ways of getting our more creative players like Kay and Devitt more involved and getting our wing backs further up the pitch, with no pressure Saturday a good opportunity to show we can still play good football and try some ideas out with the players that will be there next season

i think it's just as likely that anyone they are unsure about will get played to help them decide about keeping them or not.

Jim Gannon for me. At Stockport 2 promotions, Wembley victory, EFL record 9 straight wins without conceding a goal. Rescued club from relegation in 2006 after being 9pts adrift when he came in late January.
For Motherwell 3rd place in Scottish Premier.
At Northwich Vics. Champions of NWCL 1st division. 2nd round of FA Cup which is unheard of for a team at that level.
He has knack of bringing in young players on the fringe at Championship clubs. Victory was achieved at Wembley with youngest side ever to grace the hallowed turf. And he is out of work. Now there's a thought.......!

Just because of the difference in management, players we had and the way we played compared to the bag of shite we have had in all of these departments for the majority of this season, I think staying up has been the biggest achievement and unquestionably the most important, because if we had gone down this year, that would have been curtains for a very long time to come.
