Looks like a professional job done (as one would expect):

Jim wrote: Fri May 28, 2021 4:25 pm This is worth reading - reveiw of his time at FG. Interesting to note that, like us, FG only just survived their first year in L2, so he has experience of building to improve.

And if Jamille Matt hadn't been injured this season, there's a very good chance he'd have taken Forest Green up. Their fans generally seem a little bitter, probably because they know their new guy is a downgrade.
Exactly 💯

Are we sure this is not another of Perthbluebird's Official Barrow AFC fakebook posts?

Fantastic choice, so glad we managed to snap him up. There can’t be a manager out there at this level with his sort of experience that was available.

This feels like a proper appointment.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Welcome Mark Cooper. It’s all there for him to turn us into a solid competitive side and looking forward to it. He would have considered the board ambition on and off the pitch and the support he will need to get us continually progressing. Well done board for recognising what we need to take us forward. Three years is good for him and for us.
Still searching for the Young Soul Rebels

Because he's not won promotion every season he's managed. Would be interested to hear who Tommy's preference was.

Well done to all the folk who spotted the odds were 9/1. Great bets lads.
Steve Herbert supports the nob theory - Saturday 4th February 2012.

If this bus crashed and everybody on it died, Barrow football would end - Daz Boyle, Boston away, August 9th 2014.

I would expect our attack-minded left-back Patrick Brough will go down well with this manager. Cooper will see him flying down that wing and just might think he could be watching his Dad play.

Hope no supporter would do anything like that.

We've got we asked for - an manger who's experienced at this level and above.

Came across very well during the interviews and when doing the photos.
