Bloody awful. Easy saying waiting for a forward, we've known quigls leaving for weeks.
The stevenage keeper never made a save.
Not going down but that was shite

Re: Stevenage v Barrow match thread
Organised enough but we need a striker (hardly rocket science making that point) and a midfielder who’s going to chip in with goals. I imagined Gordon as the back up striker before the season started, unfortunately we’ve had to start the season with him as the main man

Have a day off. 45 games to go, would rather have these problems now than in March.mall wrote: ↑Sat Aug 07, 2021 4:59 pmCan't score=then down we go.boyliegladbach wrote: ↑Sat Aug 07, 2021 4:55 pm 18 months since wasting money

Popular side since '03.

My bad, I meant you look 50 years old
I don’t believe I stick up for him all the time. Easy to say ‘typical Kay’ given last seasons negligence in dissent. Think the lad is a grafter and that’ll do me. Actually Mr Moribund, I’m not wearing any knickers
Let’s all agree that we weren’t THAT far off today. Asleep for the goal (Taylor dipping a toe in, Ntlhe getting burned and then the new lad on for Platt was on his heels). Football is BACK. See y’all Tuesday!!,

Unless we get at least one creative/attacking midfielder and a striker in we could end up scoring the least goals in a season. Absolutely toothless going forward.

About as much as he’s brought to the party in a Barrow shirt so far massive let down JD since he signed for us. Again offers nowt going forwards…

One piece of decent football cost us. Can't fault the effort but we are lacking a striker, but everyone knows that.

Totally agree people making snide comments over what, we've all been saying, we've no goalscorers in midfield and not a proven one up front, we will not get away with this twice!,come on board wake up!boyliegladbach wrote: ↑Sat Aug 07, 2021 4:55 pm 18 months since wasting money

Re: Stevenage v Barrow match thread
Looked OK in the first two-thirds of the pitch but toothless in the final third.
Josh Gordon is the new Luke James.
Stating the obvious but we need a goal scorer .
I'm sure MC will sort it out.

Re: Stevenage v Barrow match thread
we did have the same problems at beginning of last season, we looked OK under Dunn but had nothing, (apart from Quigs) to score goals,
Re: Stevenage v Barrow match thread
Wrong, he saved the Kay attempt to curl it into the corner in the first half. Platt got the yellow so Arthur came on as I guess it’s risky having a CB on a yellow for a whole half, Arthur maybe to blame for the first goal, but thought he was solid for the rest of the gameboyliegladbach wrote: ↑Sat Aug 07, 2021 4:55 pm 18 months since wasting money
