As usual the back stabbing undermines what was a tribute thread to Mark Coopers father  :sentoff:

Regarding the physio leaving with immediate effect, I do wonder why he felt like he had to do that.
Because he was offered a job at a big club during their pre-season and wanted to join straight away?
Or other reasons….

And if that were genuinely the case how do we allow someone to walk away “with immediate effect”
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Mark , yes it was originally but people are only reacting to the interview given by Mark and nobody is being disrespectful!.

As for backstabbing, I can only speak for myself but anything I write on here ,I would willing say in a public meeting!

You are quite correct Mark and I apologise for my part in that. I’m more than happy for all my comments to be
shifted to the Training facilities/Physio thread.

Perhaps the Is and Ts were not dotted correctly when we originally took him on and no notice was required?

Why have the GMA become such anti club so fast? Has somebody slagged your painting off lads?

What a strange post!

Basically what you are suggesting is no one is allowed to be concerned or raise a question about what they see as a worrying situation (or situations) right in front of us?

So not having a physio in place, something is obviously wrong with the training facilities, we cancel our second PSF, and at the start of the season we kick it off with what is looking like a weak attack but we have to turn that into a positive?
Of course it’s not ideal, but all three have happened due to situations out of the clubs control , don’t you agree, they will all be corrected but this will take time. Many clubs have early season problems like this, you gotta get on with it. For what it’s worth, the lack of a replacement target man before the season started really bugs me, but MC has spoke on it.
All 3 situations are a result of actions taken by the club (or rather actions that had not been taken.) We all need to stop beating around the bush.. the club is being run in a very amateurish way, and the sooner people can open their eyes to this the sooner meaningful change can happen.

So because someone gives up their time voluntarily we aren’t allowed to question something - got it..!

“anti club”…how does that work when we give up time FOR the club, doesn’t really make sense does it.

People always looking for an error by the club  An employee can walk out at any time without working their notice. Technically, they are in breach of contract. If there is a penalty clause in the contract, the employer can deduct the value of the penalty from the employee's final salary, but if he walks out when fully paid up to date there is no redress other than going to civil law.

There is also the possibility that the physio was hired on a self-employed basis, making it even more likely that he could leave at short notice.

Too much speculation and negativity, and some people have a default position that the club officials must be incompetent! I am still a happy clapper and believe that, while things may go wrong sometimes, the club is generally run well and certainly a lot better than it was a few years ago.

Why does a member of the supporters trust board find the constant need to snipe at the club and spread the snippets of information on a fans forum? Is it to brush your own pathetic ego? Or is it because Mark H is no longer feeding you info and you need to feel relevant? Not a great way for a trust board member to be representing the fans is it?

Firstly Terry Cooper was old school football a era when a Foreigner was a player from Wales ,Scotland or NI.
It's a forum but some people need to realise that.

Nah, there's definitely some on here who want us to be back in the Conference North just so they can feel smug and say "I told you so".
