But you wouldn’t pay 20 quid to watch a PL side play a cup game at Holker St?

I’ve no idea if both clubs have to agree with this games pricing & I wouldn’t grumble if we charged 20 & made more cash to strengthen the playing side or help fund ground upgrades.

What’s the current capacity? Won’t be any more than 6500 will it?

Think our capacity is around 5600 but it states on the website that away allocation is 650. Our ground does not hold 6500 so the 10 per cent rule is interesting.

They will end up with the 655 as we can’t put a hundred home fans in with them, Just hope we sell out our 87 or 88%

I agree with Grant Holte End, I hope we forgo the 45% gate fee as we have done in the past

Hi mate, Lobby your club suggesting that as our costs are higher than most as we pay for training facilities in Manchester which ain’t cheap & we have been Non League for 48 years etc

Roma here , so happy for the club and fans with this draw, been a long time coming a night like this. My brother drove up from Poole to watch the Stevenage game for me said we we looked okay, really optimistic about this season. Sell the game out and make it a night to remember.

Gutted I won't be there, but what a draw. After poor draws the last couple of years a Prem team at home.
Barrow should comfortably sell all their tickets with Villa getting their 10% allocation.
Like someone said, Get the programme/merchandise side sorted.
Hopefully get selected for Sky too to bump up the income.

Just echoing a few others here, hope we let you lot have our 45%. In a world where Premier League clubs, including ourselves, are buying and selling players for tens of millions of pounds, it seems crude to be demanding £50,000-ish gate money from a club that's no doubt been hit hard in the pocket by COVID.

Hope it ends up on telly, in front of a sell out crowd.

I'd really love to come up for the game, but not expecting tickets as I'll be well down the queue. I've heard they're mad in to pies and sassparilla round your way, which are both things I'm a huge fan of.

Oh, and slightly belated but welcome back to the football league. It's been too long. Thanks for giving Dimitri Sea a good home!

Are the Pies and Barrow Sass all they're cracked up to be ?

Hi mate, Greens pies are very nice (Our local born hairy biker once visited it and filmed) or Delish pies, no sass anymore but we do have shipbuilders tea. Had a villa season ticket holder fan in the shipyard visit a home game and he enjoyed it (when Ian Evatt was here) he liked the town as a whole (despite the negative press it sometimes gets) looking forward to the game, crazy how it’s only two weeks away

You have to think this game will attract quite a lot of people who've maybe never or rarely been to Holker Steeet before. If we put up a decent showing on the night some of these may turn into new fans which can only help us going forward.

Unfortunately .its not possible to sell tickets when the date has not yet been announced. And then there will be priorities on who gets first go at buying...online I guess , before online general sale. So Exeter game I'm guessing may not be available for open sale. Also the little matter of a game away at Harrogate to sell tickets for plus all the rest of organizing around a potential 5.5k crowd and as someone already mentioned those who attended the sunderland and middlesborough game that will reappear for 1 night only

Think it's 10% minimum allocation for away fans in Carabao Cup, but dependent on segregation and police advice it can be bigger. Essentially, if you have an area that holds 700 fans securely, you'd give the away team all of it rather than trying to give them 550 and segregate the other 150..

And then there will be priorities on who gets first go at buying...online I guess , before online general sale. So Exeter game I'm guessing they may not be available for open sale. Six pages before kick off in a week and a half. This is massive and one of the main reasons I stuck with a season ticket for dream cup draws like this.
