Re: Barrow v Aston Villa
From the club website:
Subject to availability, general sale will commence online only at 9am on Saturday.
We will then be selling tickets from The Dunes Hotel Stadium from 10am until 2pm on Sunday to provide an extra buying window for supporters, before opening 10am until 4pm on Monday.
We will confirm later in the week how many tickets can be bought per person during the general sale period.
We will also communicate further regarding sales on the day if any tickets remain.

Re: Barrow v Aston Villa
Had a similar problem. Online System does not seem to allow purchase of second ticket to the same account. I had to go into the ticket office to buy second ticket .
Re: Barrow v Aston Villa
The Trust member priority criteria is one ticket per trust member, not one per email address and this should not have been an issue.......although did you buy at the shop today or online? If at the shop I would have thought it would not have been an issue to purchase both you and your sons ticket, but if you did this online it probably didn't like that you were using one email address. Its just another gripe with the whole online ticketing system that some have experienced. Self included, i had to go in for my ticket in the end.

I would hazard a guess and say the way the online ticketing is working it doesn't recognise that same family trust members may well use the one email address and it has not allowed you to use the same email for a second ticket.Dad+lad wrote: ↑Fri Aug 20, 2021 6:53 pmHad to go online tonight as it town working today and we off to harrogate tomoz, just worried incase carnt get him one,as no chance to get into office.Hooefully be all good soon as general sake tickets outJonty wrote: ↑Fri Aug 20, 2021 6:46 pm

You should be able to pick one up online for your lad in the morning when on general sale and you won’t have to use an email address. Get in quick though before you set off for Harrogate!

Re: Barrow v Aston Villa
Correct. However for better or worse these, (Bradford especially) lead to tightening of the Safety of Sports ground act and licensed capacities based on the criteria I mentioned earlier, plus others probably.Shaun wrote: ↑Thu Aug 19, 2021 4:42 pmFalstaff wrote: ↑Tue Aug 17, 2021 5:00 pm
It's not about how many can physically fit inside it's how many its licensed to hold safely. That will always be considerably less than the physical capacity. The licensed capacity includes consideration of things like how many toilets there are, how many crush barriers, number of exits and how quickly the place can be evacuated in an emergency. Perhaps you are too young to remember the disasters at Bradford, Heysel and Hillsborough ?
1. Wooden stands, a shedload of litter underneath and locked escape roots.
2. A crumbling stadium and poor police organisation. (Plus thugs of course.)
3. A massive police mistake.
All so easily avoidable.
At the end of the day Holker St has a 'legal capacity' that its licensed to hold. Probably significantly below how many people could fit ( even safely possibly) in the ground. That's just the way it is.
Let's say for arguments sake you could fit another 500 people in. That's means theres less toilets to go round and slower evacuation from the ground in an emergency etc etc

Maybe its the Villa fans see Barrow as a big draw? Isn't this our first competitive fixture and a new ground to visit.cottingham bluebird wrote: ↑Thu Aug 19, 2021 7:57 pmAnd we moan about ticket allocationmickycarrol wrote: ↑Thu Aug 19, 2021 6:36 pm
The criteria they need to have to be eligible for a ticket is mental eh, shows how big of a club we’ve drawn to have such support fair play to em. Imagine they will sell out in no time.Screenshot_20210819-195534.jpg

Re: Barrow v Aston Villa
Do I take it you have 20 tickets? As a Villa fan it is very difficult to get tickets as the criteria are really strict. I would love to take all 20 tickets off your hands. Is £50 a ticket okay? If so can you send me your bank details and I will transfer the £1,000. If that is not enough money I can probably pay a bit more. Recently, a cousin of a Nigerian Prince contacted me and I helped him to get 350m GBP out of Nigeria by putting it into my bank account. I got a 10m commission so I am good for the money. Anyway, it's nice to meet a fellow football fan online, there are so many [SwearFilter] heads on football forums. Let me know your bank details and we can test a couple of transfers and then I will send you the money for the tickets. ThanksLifelong Fan wrote: ↑Fri Aug 20, 2021 11:39 am I am delighted to be off work for this game. I haven't managed to get to a game since we played Rochdale. I'm very surprised they haven't sold out today with them being on general sale. I'm really hoping they sell out soon as I've spent nearly £400 on tickets I'm hoping to make a profit on if the game sells out.
