Taylor not in starting 11 for me Jonty. Been brilliant for us but too far off the pace now.
White in for Banks or go more attacking and start Zanzala too.

This is the first time I can remember our game being one of the Super 6 fixtures. Like a few people already on this thread, I've gone for 2-2.

Got to be White, Gotts and Stevens in midfield for me.

White over Taylor any day of the week. Gotts and Stevens automatic picks at the moment. Only choice will be between Kay and Zanzala

This is going to be a really difficult match as I rate Leyton Orient. They are going to be up there competing with FGR, Port Vale, Bradford, Tranmere at the end of the season in my view. I hope we can get something from the game then I'd be pleased. Likewise next Saturday at Port Vale. For what its worth I've put us down for a win on Sky's super 6 at 2-1 so I suppose that is a prediction!

Be delighted with a draw and no injuries for this one.Agree not Taylor past his best now.

Given our current restrictions, a draw would be a very satisfactory result.

You do. Geoff Street scored our goal with a bullet header from the edge of the penalty area. It remains the best headed goal I have ever seen.

and didn't Eddie garbutt miss a penalty in the last minute?

Xerxes, I've got that Street header in my mind's eye (I think it's the same one). I can't remember the Garbett penalty-miss but you will no doubt be right, Nige (chances are I would not want to remember it and have activated selective dementia for moments such as that).

As I recall, during those times when we were going downhill, we went through a strange phase which centred on the last 5 or 6 minutes of the matches, or at least the ones we weren't winning (which was most of them around that time). I am not suggesting we didn't try, but certainly I recall we would go into turbo-charge in the last few minutes to try and rescue a draw or grab a win. Was it my imagination? Or did we noticeably and massively pick up the tempo in the final minutes of those matches? Every one of our players would suddenly go through the gears and there was a manic effort from every one of them, a furious onslaught to try and rescue something. You could say it was an indicator of tremendous fitness-levels to pick up the pace in the way they did, or was it just a measure of our desperation? Was it a strategy from the manager (who will have been Bodell I suppose) or a plan from the players to kill themselves over the last 5 minutes to try and rescue a result? I just recall the "switch-on" was stratospheric in the final minutes of matches around that time as we tried yet again to avoid a defeat.

Over the years JT has been a good and faithful servant.

But unfortunately he no longer has what it takes.

He's probably only in the team/bench because we're so short.

Otherwise, I think he'd likely have hung-up his boots and called it a day.
