Made up for Paul Farman, I feel like he’s been made a bit of a scapegoat at times this season (I still think he had good excuses at Harrogate) but some of them saves yesterday! Even when they got their first he saved/blocked three time in four or five seconds with our defenders all over the place.
A fantastic point and well deserved, even from that long distance camera shot you could see the ball out of play for their second. Two massive errors in two games by the officials involved in our games.
Get that defence settled & sorted and hopefully Zanzala finds his form again & we’ll be fine.

Can’t finish without mentioning Adam’s slightly excited commentary - brilliant, as was Lee Turnbull again.

Yes, brilliant from Farman. I’ve been a critic, but he was top class yesterday. A great shot stopper - well done Paul!!!

You can't tell from that angle. The ball is so close to the line that it is quite possible part of it may not have gone out.

Spot on. I can understand Banks being careful as he was on a yellow card but Broughs powder puff attempt to stop the cross was embarrassing.

A truly enjoyable couple of days stopping in Walsall with trips in to enjoy some of Birminghams finest watering holes too!
Paul Farman was outstanding first twenty five minutes especially and he certainly needed to be. After that we settled into the game and I thought we were the better side. George Williams goal was a peach and was so pleased for Josh Gordon and boy did he enjoy his celebration with the bluebirds travelling contingent.

Absolutely Nick. We’ve got to stop that cross coming in. As for their first, come on lads show a bit of strength, I like Remeo Hutton put his attempt at winning the ball from coming down from Farmans first punch wasn’t convincing at all. As Cooper said, poor goal to concede.

Good away point at the end of the day ... and yes some of our defending is still dodgy ...and some of our forward moves lack occasional directness ...but in terms of determination and fighting spirit ...we certainly have that ...and in some players there is also considerable potential . There are things to work on ...but we also have players that , in the main , have the potential to improve . Keep the faith guys ...as the players did today ... right up to the last minute.

Maybe with further development of the existing squad and a couple of astute additions in January ..we can be challenging at the right end of the league come the end of the season... Our continuing support is critical.

This ^ Now more than ever we need to support through the turnstiles & bars & shops, we all wanted to be back in the FL….Well here we are & improving.

We will take a few backwards steps along the way but it’s vitally important we bring new people along to see what we are doing, Sadly it’s all about money these days, So we have to do our bit, Buy a few extra raffle tickets or Xmas Gifts from the shop, Join the Trust if you haven’t, If it’s yer birthday have the day out at the match with your fam & friends…..

Yes we get the Cup monies etc but the more we support the stronger we become.

Ask your friends/family group that live away to buy home match tickets on line as a support gesture, I often buy a handful of youth tickets just to boost attendance figures & our finances, It’s still a way of supporting .

Think that’s disrespectful of the other players in this team, Farman was MOTM today and kept us competing, Gotts and Stevens have been massive factors in the games they have played since signing. As good as banks is it’s not just down to him.

Every game I've seen this season the majority of anything positive we've created stems from him.

Having the young full of running Gotts & Stevens is allowing him that extra space & time to effect the game better & it shows mate, Not down to him alone it’s more of a team effort imho.

Several quality saves by the big lad but that daisy-cutter free kick under the feet of the jumping wall was Exceptionally good, he saw it sooooo late I’m amazed he got down to palm it out, Top Drawer moment for me that.

Agree totally. Keepers worst nightmare when the ball goes through a set defensive wall. He did terrifically well to get down in time to push the ball away. He was absolutely on it all game.
