Apart from Sea and Zanzala, do we have any bonefide strikers? I'm not talking about attacking midfielders, wingers etc etc
Supported the club from the early 1970s and I can't remember a time when we had such a pityful strike force.

Didn’t we have to coax Colin Cowperthwaite out of retirement to play a couple of games in the mid/late nineties we were so short of strikers

Apparently Zanzala is being paid £1800 per week.I think it is only right that Mark Cooper expects him to participate a lot more in the success of the team.
If he is upset with Mark Cooper because he was told off for not putting enough effort in it is about time he grew up otherwise his football career will only go in one direction.
Barrow as a club cannot afford to pay for players who suddenly have a hissy fit and suddenly decide they don,t want to play for a manager.It is a manager's job to tell players when they are not putting enough effort in.
I just hope I am wrong about Zanzala and that he is playing today and puts in a performance.Today is one day we need him to perform.

Agree, he’s looked good for a majority of the game. Still dangerous after 75 minutes so hopefully a full 90 tonight and Tuesday will serve him well for a start on Saturday

I liked in particular "if you can earn the respect of your team mates". Very telling comment. Hope Zanzala can keep it up. He has talent and, as Cooper said, he and Gordon together could make a good partnership.

Not everyone doubted him. Just a few. It wasn’t “all” of us. Just as it was only a few on here predicting we would get beat today. The negativity that is on this forum absolutely baffles me at times

Yes & the if you put the hard work in & earn the respect of your teammates comment & it’s sounds like they had a heart to heart & resolved things, Zanzala’s next few games should tell us if he’s back.
