If the game plan was to ‘run about for the fans’ then we’re in serious trouble. If they aren’t doing what the game plan was then we’re in trouble. If Wakeling is the most clinical striker at the club but isn’t getting played then we’re in trouble.

It sounds like he knows who the problem players are so we now have two options.

A) Get rid of the manager and bring in someone the players listen too and will give them a rocket up the you know what.

B) Hang on to him, pray to cowps we manage to stay up and let him have a rebuild on the summer, getting rid of players who’ve under performed.
With option B we would be left with about 2 players next season as so many have been very very poor this season.

I do not believe all the players we have are that bad. However I do not know how but Cooper gets them playing badly with no confidence
Just say no to VAR :sentoff:

Cooper has to go, hasent a clue.
Season of poor selections and tactics.
Today's interview is baffling ro say the least.
Carlisle were very poor but we are far worse.
Doesn't know his best team, chops and changes far too often.
Good chance to put a good show on today for the floaters who turn up. Blew it....
Too many excuses.
We may survive with him, but for me time to go.
COOPER OUT !!!!

A legitimate question - if anyone knows. But have we won 2 league games in a row this season?

That might not be a bad thing.

Distinctly remember Cooper earlier in the season (during the training-ground saga) saying: 'I'm a football coach..it's what I do.'
He clearly is not a good football coach though as not one member of this squad has improved under his tutelage. We were 0-1 down today and yet, at their corner brought every player back into the box to defend. At 0-2 down we left a couple of players up. Unfathomable tactics.
If by some footballing miracle we do stay up he'll surely hand in his notice as I would hope a lot of the current squad will as well.
Wishful thinking of course but the majority of those players will never again play in front of a home crowd of that size in a league game again in their careers and they should be told that in no uncertain terms by the Chairman.
Let them work it out for themselves what he's getting at.
Ability is one thing, the lack of character, guile and willingness to play the ball forward and have attempts on goal is quite another. It's happened all season and as pathetic as the manager is the players aren't too far behind him in the responsibility queue.

Yes - once - but not two in a row at home.

Its not all down to Cooper, the players have to show grit and determination to win a football match. At the start of the second half- only one down and very much still in it, there were three absolutely brilliant deliveries from corners that couldn't have been better, but absolutely no one busting a gut to get on the end of it. That is down to the players desire to win the ball. He knows it himself. We see it every week at both ends. The players have to stand up and be counted too. Its no good rallying for a late show at 2-1 down. They have to show that from the first minute and the first tackle.

Lumsden talking about the Barrow performance, said we lacked ability, lacked togetherness, and lack of spirit and he fears for us but we might get lucky with Oldham & Scunthorpe also being poor, is he right about the ability ,togetherness & spirit he didn`t hold back.

I've made a commitment to attend the rest of the away matches. After today I don't know why I bother. We may survive by the skin of our teeth but it will be touch and go. I've been sat on the fence for a while re Cooper, I thought he was the man for the job, but it is becoming plainly obvious for one reason or another, that he is not.
Hoping for survival with or without him.

Facts don't lie. I would love to ask him: Why is play-maker Gott at right-full back? Why do we play hoof-ball and into the wind at that? Why do we give the ball away with so many bad passes? Clearly our forwards can't score, they're simply on the pitch to make-up the numbers. Glennon had a shocker. We will likely stay up because there are 2 worse teams than us. There were 2 positives however, a good attendance (which won't last) and a sunny day. :P
"We will likely stay up because there are 2 worse teams than us" ??. Are you for real,or what !.
Cant ya see whats happening?. We just aint capable of bloody scoring, cant ya see that !. They just havent got it within them to score and, their confidence is now bolloxed as well.
You know as well as I do that Sheridan will make sure that Oldham creep over the line cos at least Sheridan has at least 'some' idea. As for the Orient game next week, ya know what the script is now.
The League table shows there ARE 2 worse teams! That IS fact, meaning its for REAL! 'Hello'.

Oldham has 1 point in last 6 games, with Sheridan (who has 'some idea' according to you) as Manager.

Amazingly Barrow has 5 points in last 6 games, because Rooney (who else) managed to score a goal.

That Sheridan and Oldham will leap-frog Barrow is pure speculation, so it's not REAL.

The real worry is the amount of players we've already signed up for next season. I think we've already got 16 players signed up so how can we make wholesale changes ?

We must have forked out a small fortune in paying managers off since promotion, are we just unlucky, or is some sort of pattern forming with the managers and players we are attracting to Holker Street ? I thought Cooper was a good fit when he was appointed, and the football at the start of the season was good to watch, it's all been down hill since then for the long suffering fans.

Cooper is from the South no connections in the North.
We have Kelly at Blackburn Evatt at Bolton and more but no attempt to borrow players.

The guy needs to be kept here and if we go down that will be on his CV .
