Players we might be interested in....
Re: Players released by other clubs - who we might be interested in....
Stevenage have released 15 (!) players, including Brad Barry. Transfer listed another 4 too. Probably the sort of clear out job we need.

Surely Quigs and hollaway are too similar Holloway did ok for us but I would hope we could do better, funny how he started putting the effort in when he must of realised he was at the end of his Burton contract !

What amazes me about Holloway is, we allowed him to come to the club in the first place, on an understanding that he didn't train full-time with the club.

James Norwood, striker released by Ipswich Town- 31 years old- games played and goal record speaks for itself- scored goals wherever he has been. Comparable career stats (games played and goals scored) record to Andy Cook. The record of a proven goal scorer we need.

Reduce the squad size, free up the budget and have quality players. If we want to improve on the playing field we need to find a way to afford the better players.russell_anderson wrote: ↑Wed May 11, 2022 12:41 amAt Ipswich, Norwood will getting 2 or 3 times the salary that we could afford to pay.Jonty wrote: ↑Tue May 10, 2022 11:11 pm James Norwood, striker released by Ipswich Town- 31 years old- games played and goal record speaks for itself- scored goals wherever he has been. Well said Jonty quality not quantity, sometimes we lack confidence as a club, look when we advertise for managers, the clubs that really want to get on ,target who they want and go for it !Jonty wrote: ↑Wed May 11, 2022 8:02 amReduce the squad size, free up the budget and have quality players.
