Re: Retained/released list
I think our team has been a little disorganised towards the end of this season.
Kay has actually matured and hopefully will kick on next season.
Our most expensive signing from Fleetwood needs to do better next sesson.
Farman is now one of the better goalkeepers we have had in recent years..
If Josh Gordon goes we need two decent strikers , at Least one ball winner in midfield and someone to replace Mcllellan.

In his Radio interviews a few weeks ago Wild has admitted he has been tinkering with formations with one eye on next season.Pedro wrote: ↑Tue May 09, 2023 8:41 am

Ged Garner has carried an injury for a good few weeks. Get him fit a good pre season behind him I'm confident of seeing a better version of Garner next season.
Feely can replace Mclleland for me. After all he was signed as a centre half who can cover at right back.
Warren just might develop into a better right wing back than an orthodox fullback a position he has struggled in this season.
Re: Retained/released list
Retained/released list now out , gutted about Brough leaving, but at least we expected it.

We have offered new contracts and remain in negotiations with the following players and more news will be confirmed in due course:
Josh Gordon
Josh Kay
Josh Lillis
A new contract was also offered to Patrick Brough, but unfortunately terms could not be agreed. We would like to thank Patrick for his service to the club and wish him good luck for the future.
The following players have been released at the end of their contracts and the Club would like to thank them for their efforts and wish them well in the future:
Scott Moloney
David Moyo
Mark Ellis
Joe Grayson
Solomon Nwabuokei
Benni Smales-Braithwaite
Pawel Zuk
Both Benni Smales-Braithwaite and Pawel Zuk have been invited back for pre-season.
We would also like to thank and offer our best wishes to the following players who were with us on loan at the end of 2022/23 and will now return to their parent clubs:
Sam McClelland
Harrison Neal
Jake Young
Finally, we would like to thank you Jason Taylor who has decided to retire and has been offered a coaching role within the club.

Re: Retained/released list
Good to see Zuk and Benni invited back to pre-season and wouldn't be at all surprised if one or both are signed on 1 year deals again as Pete's "projects"
