I will be happy with upper mid table finish then really go for it next season when Pete will know League footy better and our young starlets mature more, Stay injury free & enjoy some luck & we might challenge for that last playoff place, & let’s enjoy a good cup run & make money to kick on further.

Yes, agreed. A lot of teams have spent over the summer, and will have lofty aspirations. I think it will be a tough season, with hard fought games throughout. Getting into the top half will be a challenge, let alone the important top seven. Hope is always there, but it’s never a strategy.

I'd be happy if we just cemented our L2 existence over the next 5 years. I know Blackpool came down from the Championship and could potentially go straight back up, but they could also be a typical L1 side, and they destroyed us the other week. Imho, we are not close to being a L1 side.
Our whole infrastructure, ground, facilities, etc are only just L2 standard so let's just enjoy being where we are now before pressing on
