"Barrow AFC can confirm Manager Pete Wild has been handed a two-game touchline ban and fined following our clash against Accrington Stanley on the 29th of December.
The club can confirm Wild has admitted to the charge and has accepted the standard penalty.

Would say its more of a reflection of the shocking standard of refereeing in the league, when managers are serving bans for sticking up for their team and awful decisions going against us, we all know Accrington should have been down to 10..... think it shows petes determination to stick up for his lads.

They're just clamping down on managers/being angry at officials, and it doesn't take a lot to earn a ban either when you read into all the cases.

In the past week, in our league alone, the managers for AFC Wimbledon, Salford and Tranmere have all been given bans too.

Can someone please remind me of the precise rules applicable. I assume that he can travel and be with the team before and after games. Can he be with the team at HT? Also I assume he can spectate from elsewhere in the ground?

This is from the FA of Wales and I can only assume it's similar in England. It would seem he is allowed in the changing room before the game and at half-time:

A Touchline Suspension is a ban from any immediate contact with players, club officials and match officials participating in a match for the duration of the match. A Touchline Suspension may be imposed on a player and an official. A Touchline Suspension prohibits an individual from:

Attending the dugouts and technical areas before, during and after the match.
Entering the field-of-play and the prohibited area in the vicinity of the touchline and goal lines.
Coaching or issuing instructions for the duration of the game.
Engaging the match officials whilst they are on the field-of-play or in the tunnel and/or private way leading from the dressing rooms to the field-of-play.

The player or official under a Touchline Suspension is permitted to attend the team changing room pre-match, at half time and post-match. Furthermore, the individual is permitted to approach the match officials pre-match or post-match whilst they are in their dressing room and provided the match officials are agreeable to the approach.
