A lower league version on nistleroy/rooney looking at them goals!

Be good for aqua to learn a bit maybe?

Seriously though, if he's hungry, he could be dangerous and a great addition.. good luck Cole!

That's what I'm talking about!

A Striker who knows how to thump the ball with conviction into the back of the Net!!

BUT, NO Goals for Burton in his 8 games for them - that uncomfortable stat for a new Striker is painfully familiar to us....
Most of them 8 games are 5 mins here and there. Sometimes players and clubs just dont click. He wanted out and will want out permanently in the summer. So I’d imagine he will want to impress any potential bidders for the summer which is good for us

Down to the gaffer to instill belief and confidence.. plus he has a great team behind him who will no doubt be pushing him along too. He definitely has goals in him!

Given a few games to settle, or maybe not. Let's hope he provides us with what we need to stay where we are, or finish in that magic place everyone of us can't even think about. Let us all hope he becomes Cole the goal.

It's not that black and white is it ? Some player's move club's and just don't settle, might be the way the new team plays , might not like the manager, could be where he's living, ok same might happen here, but having seen him play, he's definitely what we're missing, hold up play, strong and aggressive and not scared to shoot !

I really don't know what all the fuss and concern is about on here. Duffus and particularly Garner have not been performing in front of goal for whatever reason so they are loaned out helping our finances to get Stockton in and see what he can do. (I'm presuming in all the deals there were obviously conversations how much each club contributed towards the players wages etc etc). For us we get a goalscorer at this level and, last season, at L1 level while for Cole he is putting himself in the shop window (maybe Charlton Athletic will be looking closely at this). In now boils down to see if our midfield can supply the necessary bullets to our forwards in the coming months. The other interesting thing for Wild is determining who starts up front, do we change our formation slightly to accommodate three up front or stay with our tried and tested formula? Interesting and exciting times ahead. Lets all enjoy the ride.

Looks a great addition to the squad. I’m all in on this.
Still searching for the Young Soul Rebels

Think it's a good move.We have let a player go out on loan who never performed and brought a player in who needs to prove himself.
If he does not come good we still have decent forwards.

Are you deliberately trying to wind up Seaman Sam?

He’s a beast, no doubt . Scoring from all areas. Thing is , with Barrow, the team in whole is worth much more than the sum of its parts. That must not change , if we are to succeed this season. Nevertheless, Cole looks like a great addition. All Bluebirds !

Only 1 team in EFL 1 has scored less goals than Burton, Sam, so it possibly reflects more on the team than an individual striker especially as Burton are just above the relegation spots.
Anyway, nothing to lose as we know that Duffus and Garner wouldn't score many goals so Stockton should find it pretty easy to beat their combined total of 4 goals in 39 games even though many were as substitutes.

Josh Gordon scored 0 in 23 games for burton this season. Would say it’s equally down to their team or the way they’re playing that’s causing the strikers not to score.

Agree 100% regards the signing of players, but Nige the atmosphere at HS isn’t as bad as you make out, infact I’ve been to many away games over the years, and generally it’s the away contingent that create the atmosphere, due to the majority being intoxicated. So let’s focus on the excellent signings we’ve made, and don’t start this ridiculous, lack of atmosphere shit.

One of the stand-out signings of summer '22 was Dom Telford leaving Newport for Crawley. One of the stand-out signings of summer '23 was Cole Stockton going from Morecambe to Burton. Now they could be lining up alongside each other for Barrow. Two extraordinary pieces of business by those involved in player recruitment at your club.
I just hope both can find their best form and steer clear of injury for the next five months. If they do Barrow supporters could be watching one of the best second halves to a season they've ever seen.

Josh Gordon is not a league one striker. He has come back down to his level going on loan to Walsall in league 2
