Trust the process? We had one player in the top 50 L2 goal scorers and one player top 50 L2 assists- both the same player Kian Spence.

Above anything else- this is the main problem area. If we are going to go with the same approach next season then we need players who can create and score in that system.

I would agree with that Mark, a good solid player and despite his age (only young - just not in footballing terms 😳) he could still get around the pitch.
White, he could’ve done a job when trying to defend a lead (what’s one of them) so another squad player but perhaps we have someone else in mind.
Got to admit, I was worried PW was going to keep Warren going off the amount of times he played him. Seems a decent lad but not up to this level and always had a costly mistake in him.
Ray being released doesn’t necessarily mean PW didn’t want him, he might’ve wanted a move himself. He’s been a big improvement on the previous season though & will no doubt turn up at another L2 club.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Well, if we want him, we'll have to pay a fee as he signed a new deal in February until the end of the 24/25 season. He's only 21 so I expect he would be relatively expensive.

With a name like that he would be well suited to Holker Street.

It's a big re-build in the summer if we are to improve on this season.
Of the 13 contracted players only four (Farman, Canavan, Campbell and Spence) would be guaranteed starters in my opinion.
Fingers crossed that Tiensia and Acquah will fulfill their promise next season and cement a starting place.
Of the other contracted players we can't go another full season without a single goal from Worrall and Newby. Tyrell Warren scored more goals than those two!
Sorry to see George Ray and Sam Foley depart. Despite his advancing years Sam never failed to give his all and was always there to drive the team forward.
I'm sure Iain, Pete and Adam will deliver.

For me Robbie Gotts is too similar to Spence, but without the goals.
He lacks the physical presence needed in midfield to complement Spence and Campbell.
You may have noticed he lost the challenge in midfield that led to the Mansfield goal on Saturday.
He'd be in the squad but not a starter for me.

If we are in the same position with seven games to go next season I would bite your hand off. You can stick averages where the sun doesn’t shine!

If we are looking at loanees one lad I thimk we should consider is Derby striker Dejaune Brown. 18yrs old joimed Gateshead on youth-loan in January his first taste of 'mens' football.Scored twice in his first two games from the bench and didn't start a game until the beginning of March going on to score 9 goals in 21 appearances. Derby boss thought enough of him to consider re-calling him because of an injury crisis but decided to leave him at Heed. As Gatesheads' chances of promotion to EFL (they still have the FAT final next week) scuppered by off=field problems Derby may exercise the usual routine of moving loanees up to the next level. A good show at Wembley may put him on a few radars.

I hope not.
I remember him at Fylde.
Not sure he meets the PW criteria of a 'good person' lol
Plus he's coming up 32 and well under 6ft.
Other than that he'd be a great fit. ;)

But you didn't see one of the tackles of the season when he ran back against Bradford the other week?,you also omitt the 2 weak challenges by our defenders after that !😢nothing like Spence works twice as hard ,covers lots of ground doesn't score goals but that's not his job !
Wouldn't say Campbell or Spence have a physical presence the way Pete wants to play doesn't require that , not saying I don't think we need one but I don't choose the tactics or player's!
