For me he’s got to put more effort in and get to know us better, it feels like he’s a remote manager. With PW it felt like he was one of us and we all related to that. That said we’ve got to give the lad a chance, in a Gillingham fans poll 60% were really annoyed he got the push. I think his profile could do with a significant boost with Barrovians but I guess that’s what we have to live with in the way we operate. Let’s hope we get a great start and get right behind Clem.

Feels a bit harsh considering he's only been in charge of two home friendlies but I do understand where you're coming from. Pete wild endeared himself with the fans so well, I think his working class, relatable attitude helped with that. Think patience will be needed with Clemence especially if we don't get off to a lightning start

Perhaps your surname is later in the alphabet and he is working down his list to get round to supporters' homes, introduce himself and ask how he should be doing his job?

In the meantime, he has done five or six interviews a week, mainly on video, a supporters' Q&A and an open training session. Seems a reasonable start to me.
