Go and get Regan Booty from Gateshead, just put a transfer request in. One of the best midfielders in national league, keeps the ball and breaks up play. Something we need!

Echoes of Norman Bodell unproven players like Barry McArthur etc from Notts Forrest were signed .

If Clemence wants us to be tougher I wonder who he,s got lined up . The nastiest player I can think of is james Mclean.....hypertheticaly not sure how I'd feel about that but is a player of that ilk what we need..?

Couple of nasty buggers who do the “dark arts” we see every other team do would be ideal; especially if they are experienced. Too often we get bullied/are too nice

And be on really high wages, we have to careful signing these sort of players we can't afford to get stung with high wages and then they don't bother, I'd look at the national league because any league player who's what we require the club who has them would want a large transfer fee !

Spot on.

Decent players from NL are also looking to prove themselves at a higher level, rather than millionaire players who are looking to end their playing days with a nice easy job, plenty of money, and a manager who on the face of it is not tough enough to push them.

Clemence saying the Club can't just get rid or make players leave the Club when players have Contracts it's totally up to the individual player.
