You better have a word with the gaffer, then, 'cos clearly he doesn't know that.

Clearly a misunderstanding, The phrase actually used must have been "...put out to grass".

Starts today in the Lancashire cup game V Preston!

Was always a gamble as stated signing him but good to see him back involved.

Who knows he could be very useful for the rest of the season with our luck injury wise!!

Curious to know if the lad is available or if he's had another set back?

After he played in the Lancs cup game it was mentioned then that Sam Barnes only trains twice a week due to the nature of the injuries he has had.

Aye that was a while ago you'd like to think the picture has since changed. Maybe we can get an injury update from the manager next time he's interviewed few players not featured since clemence likes of Fletcher, etc.

I think they will nurse Barnes through the rest of the season, then hope next year he will be able to fully be involved and we will have a player on our hands.
His signing was always was a bit of a gamble, but could yet to be a good one if the lad can get over the knock backs.

All players back
There is a behind closed doors friendly organised for next week to get minutes into legs of those who haven’t featured and also so that they can assess the players that they haven’t yet seen in match action
