This could be something for Supporters over the Pre-Season guessing our potential investor.

In all my days on this planet, I never thought I’d ever hear the term Royal next to the word Barrow. Especially from a government whose main policy over my lifetime has been to try and get rid of the very skills that we are now being lauded as exemplars of.

It truly is a wierd, wierd world we live in.

And yes this is a fantastic opportunity to entice additional investment into the town and therefore into the club.

We can now take over Morecambe and emerge as a new franchise called Morecambe Bay Royals.

I imagine Paul Hornby is regretting saying anything regards investors. I think the best thing would be keep our fingers crossed and sit back and wait for some good news instead of fishing for a name.

Was going to post the same especially with some of the post regarding it, but supporters like to speculate.

Love it. Maybe we can now annex the Isle of Man?

A small fee will secure the deal for the Royal Baz Island formerly known as Mann and The Royal Barrow sea formerly known as the Irish sea 🤣

Don’t think he’ll care less tbh; it’s a few posts on a forum and social media, no exactly breaking his door down wanting answers are we

Might be worth giving the club shop a ring. See if they’ve heard anything.

The Royal Barrow was started by the tories not labour wasn’t it? Thought it was Simon Fells mission. No doubt labour will take all the credit though

I think.you will find that our current MP Michelle Scrogham thanked Simon Fell for all the work he put in to get it.It would be fitting if when King Charles comes to Barrow Simon Fell.was invited back as a way oif the town saying thank you.
I met him and he seemed a really decent man who worked hard for our town
