Re: Pre-season friendlies
At least we have named our opponents, Carlisle will play a behind Closed Doors fixture on July 12th with the opponents requesting that details of the match are not disclosed.

They haven’t been told. It’s a secret. They will be required to use blindfolds and ear protectors during the game.bluessupporter wrote: ↑Wed Jun 04, 2025 1:09 pmIs that home or away?behind the goals wrote: ↑Tue Jun 03, 2025 7:03 pm At least we have named our opponents, Carlisle will play a behind Closed Doors fixture on July 12th with the opponents requesting that details of the match are not disclosed.

Re: Pre-season friendlies
maybe Carlisle and Morecambe are breaking tradition and playing each other behind closed doors on the 12th July - despite being in the same (non) league next season?behind the goals wrote: ↑Wed Jun 04, 2025 7:01 pm Must be a non-league thing Morecambe playing 2 games behind closed doors July 12th & August 2nd, can see us playing one more pre-season game on July 26th who knows might be BCD.

Re: Pre-season friendlies
Can’t see the Morecambe game going ahead. Sadly our Lancashire neighbours, who have always been supportive of us when we’ve experienced financial problems, are having a lot of their own.

Hmm that's sad - I will never forget that aeroplane banner welcoming us back into the league.FanzoneFan wrote: ↑Fri Jun 27, 2025 9:21 pm Can’t see the Morecambe game going ahead. Re: Pre-season friendlies
Unfortunately the Morecambe story just keeps getting worse. A lot of similarities with our time under Vaughan.FanzoneFan wrote: ↑Fri Jun 27, 2025 9:21 pm Can’t see the Morecambe game going ahead. The EFL gave clearance for sale to Panjab Warriors a week ago. Now it appears as if Bond Group are actually trying to change the deal having already received (it is alleged) £3.8m including £1.7m last season to try to keep Morecambe up. PW are a organisation that themselves were in corporates a year or so ago. There is also talk of mysterious third parties who may have some skin in the game getting involved.
They are moving towards the point of no return as a club. But they do have the bare bones of a squad and could fill this with trialists if they chose to do so. So it may yet happen.
Re: Pre-season friendlies
Morecambe now behind closed doors. Shame we couldn’t play it here and donate after expenses the gate money.
