Just watching Soccer Aid and Tom Grennan looks very good so far. Reminds me of Kian Spence , are Wood and Joe Harvey at the game watching? It seems like a unique opportunity and a market we could benefit from

Interest from Cambridge , Walsall , Bristol Rovers & Barrow according to Alan Nixon

Make of that what you like
Rather have Elvis Presley .Don't need another player to lay the ball off ,needs to be able to score and from the lazy run to take the penalty that I knew he would miss .I thought Bob Ledger mark 2.
Had time to develop playing over 90 games .
Those pleading his case sound like Saul of Tarsus but there will be no conversion.

You don't need “data informed stats” to tell you what we need up front. Goalscoring has been our issue for two seasons.
Still searching for the Young Soul Rebels

I guess after looking at Innes Camerons scoring record Pedro you have already wrote him off too :)

I have not seen them play but I have seen Presley .
He was lethargic when he grabbed the ball for the penalty he fluffed.
I did say Joel Dixon was not up to it.Where is he now.
I also said Rooney was not up to it looking at his record and not on how he played for Barrow. How wrong was I.
For a 23 year old he is a cart horse aka,Bob Ledger 2 goals on his debut and never scored again,John Rowlands.
Just a view not necessarily the right one but it's mine.

Wyll Stanway up front and Tom Grennan in the number 10 role. We’d win the league for sure

The primary reason Pressley copped abuse on the forum was that he didn’t fit in to the type of striking solution that many dream of.

Thought he was very effective later in the season in particular at MK and Wimbledon. He has a Chris Waddle like physicality. He looks deceptively sluggish but has a decent turn of speed when needed. IMO he’s better than Acquah

Like him or not he is a decent player at this level. If he doesn’t come to us he’ll be playing against us in the coming season.

But I bow to the majority. We can do better. Just waiting for “better” to turn up.

Maybe AFC should be checking RLFC?

Stating the obvious there Pedro, everybody knew Pressley was not a twenty goal a season target man and it was a shot in the dark but what choice do we have with our budget, we continue to search for the impossible dream along with another eighty + football league teams. A provern goal scorer,.
Who knows a super rich benefactor might turn up and donate a load of cash, l'm sure the majority of us would appreciate that, well perhaps not everybody there always somebody waiting to moan. Not forgetting that people are entitled to their opinion, how could l. !.

Pressley scored 4 goals in 21 appearances; he missed a penalty and a few ‘sitters’ which. I think he should have converted. So he could have doubled that tally , quite easily. He’s only 23 , brings people into the game well with his hold up play and gets into good goal scoring positions. If he has a full season instead of coming in with less than half the season to go and full preseason with teammates who he is more familiar with , you can make a very reasonable argument that he’d be a 12-15 plus striker at this level. A gamble of course but every signing is .

Agree - still a good young prospect.

Would be happy to see him singed.
We will follow the soccer, over land and sea...
