Would seem abit silly to hire him considering that in his time we still haven’t won a game yes granted we have played well but still no balls in that net
Let there be BARROVIAN BEDLAM :scarf: :scarf:

I'd obviously back him for the reasons stated in my post a couple of pages back, but if I were to put myself in the shoes of a floating fan I don't think it would be an inspiring choice. Given the crowds over the last couple of games you'd think they would want to make an appointment that would inject a bit of positivity into people.

Jon Brady would be the best Xmas present we could have, if he’s available and would come to Barrow he’s our man. Fingers crossed in fact everything crossed.

Appointing McDonald would put more people off

If it takes another three or four games to get the right person in then so be it.
Sadly by then we could be relegated
Is there only 4 games of the season left - wow time flys

His record would indicate it would be a lot worse than meh. More akin to terrible!

An appointment like Brady would give the whole club and support base a huge lift.

It’s easy putting names like Brady’s into the imaginary hat when it’s not our money - but some of the other names being thrown around don’t really get the juices flowing.

Whatever is decided we need to get this one right.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

McDonald has had his audition v Cheltenham. That was his chance to have an instant impact in a must not lose game. Also he’s been in the building for a few weeks previous with Whing and we still haven’t won a game) These players need a big voice (rocket) from the touchline. It was the Cheltenham boss continually directing and giving instruction.

Yes, just like the successful Ray Wilkie and Ian Evatt used to do.

If it is McDonald good luck to him. These players need strong direction and possibly a bit of a “rollicking” in game from the sides.

We played ok against Cheltenham. We lost because of individual errors that could not be blamed on the coach.
