Strange the club haven’t mentioned that Paul Gallagher is working as a coach. Would be seen by a lot as a risk for the managers job but just bizarre the club haven’t mentioned it

It's absolutely crucial that we get someone in (ideally from the outside) over the next couple of days. Two quick home games to assess the squad, and then two clear weeks on the training ground given we have a free weekend on the 10th January.

It's becoming clear they've sacked Whing without a firm plan for a successor in place, and/or they've been turned down by replacements that have been sounded out, or there was simply the hope that McDonald would get enough of a tune of them to get us by until the end of the season. Almost three weeks since Whing left and that's a long time to be in limbo.

Noel Hunt is one of the favourites, he's faced transfer embargos etc at Reading so he's used to pressure!, problem we have is where the Manager is based .we saw how that worked out with Cooper! ,I'll hold my hand up Thought he would have been the one but he was anything but ,
Let's hope the club get it right but there's so many other things involved it's not just picking a name, who'd run a football club?

It's bit like saying let's employing the Captain of the Titanic he must be ok he has worked on a ship..

Not spouting rubbish Hunt was sacked and that's where Kelly went and they've improved.

I can't escape the feeling that the board will make the same (apparent) mistakes again and will look for a Head Coach who will dance on strings. FFS fellas, give the footballing responsibility to someone who knows football. If you bring someone in and call them Head Coach then they are going to starting behind the 8 ball because many, myself included, will only see it as a partial commitment and will stink of somebody trying to cling on to power (NOT our contributing board, I hasten to add).
