If Newport never won we all walk away happy with today. Miles better effort and miles better feeling around the spot. Makes you think how much different the season could have been playing a back 4 all season

I've been disgusted with the unprofessional low energy levels shown in so many of the matches this season, and particularly recently. But today every one of them put in a shift and there was obvious forward momentum and a desire to try and get at the opposition. So credit there. But it's very, very sobering to think that despite the efforts from everyone, and despite the desire to try to get forward, I don't think we managed one attempt on target in the whole match. The only consolation is that the now customary last-minute winner for the opposition didn't come . . . . . thanks to whoever it was who invented flags . . . . .

Much better performance today .The ref definitely spoilt the game by blowing for free kicks for us when we he could have played advantage,especially towards the end when we were attacking Accrington's goal.If play had been allowed to continue we may have scored because we had caught them out with that attack.Also their player had his arms round Josh Gordon,nothing given 5 minutes later something similar and a free kick awarded against us.The only bright spot was.when their goal was disallowed thanks to the linesman.If it had been up to the ref he would probably have awarded it.Hopefully a better result Tuesday night.

Frustrated not to win that game but there was clear commitment despite the lack of quality and that's something I can get behind for the final 10 games. We looked a whole lot more comfortable in that shape, would just like to see out and out wingers.

We need 1.6 points per game to have a hope of football league survival.
We needed all three points today and looking at the fixtures I can't see us getting more than 3 draws for the rest of the season.
Even if we went on a 5 game winning run it wouldn't be enough .

Much better performance, thought Earing had a solid game. Frustrating that Newport managed to come from behind and win. That game in hand is going to be vital, on to Salford!

We could have so easily been beaten with that ball that hit I think Shipley and snuck in.

We should have won that game as the better team, but I’ll take a point (we need every one) even though we dropped into the relegation zone.
As others have said - far better performance today which gives encouragement for better results to come in remaining 10 games. We need them!
Jackson had a good game today, as did McCann, and starting Walker made a difference - repeat please.

I hope it’s not too early to say there is a ‘Foley Effect’ going on. The voice from the ground seemed to support it (pun).

We really need a couple of surprise victories just like the one Newport got today. As far as I can recollect we've never won at Salford and our only win against them came in the non league. Now would be a great time to to get our first league victory against them.

I fear the worst now but still hope.

If we do it then it would be typical of us taking points off teams high up in the league
