Re: Next season
Going off the BBC interview with Foley, he 100% cant be our manager next season. Players have given it their all

Re: Next season
The majority haven’t worked hard enough. Deep down they know that.
Foley said they’re young lads, as if we had a young side out on Saturday and that was to blame.
Only 1 player was under 24.
5 players 30 or older.
The average age of the team on Saturday was 28.

This is a great point. If there one thing this squad doesn’t lack it’s experience. Tons of EFL appearances, many at bigger clubs than ours, maybe that’s part of the problem.Cokey wrote: ↑Mon Apr 27, 2026 3:58 pm The majority haven’t worked hard enough. Deep down they know that.

Re: Next season
Tbh even if he'd kept us up I wouldn't offer him the job. Great bloke and I don't get why he hasn't played because he would chip in with the odd goal and assist. Definitely should be something to do with the club next year wether thats coaching or a squad player.
On another note I said ages ago not giving Booty a proper chance esp in January when he'd been playing well on loan then selling him was a massive mistake! Could have Definitely used him next season.
Re: Next season
Agree keep as a player, but im hoping for a complete overhaul of the coaching staff, so let the new manager choose his team, not cheap out and keep half the people that are already here. Nows the time we really cant cheap out on the coaching sideLCBAFC40 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 27, 2026 4:53 pmTbh even if he'd kept us up I wouldn't offer him the job. Re: Next season
Whats the York City fomua. Thats what we need to emulate right? From a manager and coaching perspective at least. A last parachute payment from Sky should be directed to bringing in the best coaching team we can afford.
